TODAY’S DAILY SAPPHIRE:
The Sumballo Of Your Life

Friday, September 26, 2025

In Luke's account of Messiah's birth, it's written that Miriam, or Mary, "kept all these things and pondered them in her heart." The original Greek word used for her pondering these things is "sumballo." "Sumballo" not only means "to ponder" but "to meet with" and "to encounter." For Mary, the birth of Messiah was not just an event to experience. It was a reality to be kept and encountered. In the same way, your life doesn't consist of your circumstances or experiences. It's about what you take to heart, what you receive, and what you dwell on that determines and defines your life. No matter what's going on around you or not going on - if you take to heart the Lord's blessings, you will live a blessed life. If you ponder and dwell on His goodness, then goodness will define and fill your life. For whatever you take to heart and dwell on, that is what you will "meet with" and "encounter" every day of your life. For that which you dwell on, you will end up dwelling in. For what you ponder in your heart, will be your continual encounter.

From Message #1371 - The Miraculous Life

TODAY'S MISSION:
Today, take time to really dwell on the Lord's goodness and His blessings on your life. The more you dwell on it, the more you'll dwell in it.

Isaiah 41:13
This is one of the most well-known verses on this topic. It is a direct and comforting promise from God to His people.
> "For I, the LORD your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, 'Fear not, I will help you.'"
>
The context of this verse is one of reassurance for the people of Israel who were facing fear and uncertainty. The promise is a powerful reminder that God's presence provides help and protection, and it is a command to not be afraid.
Psalm 73:23-24
This psalm, written by Asaph, describes a moment of doubt and struggle, but ends with a strong declaration of faith.
> "Nevertheless, I am continually with you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me to glory."
>
This verse highlights God's constant presence and guidance, even when the psalmist felt like his faith was failing. It shows a personal relationship where God not only holds his hand but also guides him with wisdom, leading him toward a future of glory.
Psalm 18:35
In this psalm of praise, King David thanks God for His deliverance and support.
> "You have also given me the shield of your salvation, and your right hand upholds me, and your gentleness makes me great."
>
Here, the imagery of God's right hand "upholding" David conveys the idea of support and strength, preventing him from falling and allowing him to achieve great things.
The phrase "God takes you by the right hand" consistently represents:
* Personal Presence: It's a very intimate image, like a parent holding a child's hand.
* Divine Guidance: God is leading and directing the way.
* Support and Strength: He is the source of the strength needed to face life's challenges.
* Protection: It implies a shield from harm and a secure grip that won't let you go.
