The ages eighteen to twenty-nine are the black hole of church attendance, this age segment is "missing in action" from most congregations...Overall, there is a 43 percent drop-off between the teen and early adult years in terms of church engagement....eight million twentysomethings who were active church goers as teenagers but who will no longer be particularly engaged in a church by their thirtieth birthday...according to David Kinnaman at Barna Research Group (2011).

Wow! These are alarming numbers! So what are we to do about it? The first step to a solution is to identify the root problem. Why do we have the most religiously active teenage youth groups and the least religiously active 18-29 something groups? What has happened in that transition from teen to adulthood? Stay tuned for information on a new bible study to begin soon on the subject. Every concerning Christian of any age is welcome and encouraged to attend...Dates and times to be announced...

You know? When...we fall down, there are some who will look, but not reach out to help you back up, and there are some who will completely walk away as if you were a deep regret, and there are others who will point there fingers, blame, and ridicule you before God, as if trying to convince Him they have a right to call you despicable...oh, how the accuser of the brethern works...I know it hurts...but don't you ever forget...God's love never fails, never gives up, never runs out on you! You never have to fear loosing His love, never!...so get up! Turn back to Him! While you still have breath, it is never too late to receive His grace...You are loved with an everlasting love!!!

In Him, we become truly living, moving, regenerating! In Him we have abundant life, eternal life, starting here and now, in His kingdom, here on earth...communing with Him in Spirit, living in His righteousness, adhering to moral principles, occupying; being busy about the Father's business; witnessing for Christ, working good deeds, preparing for His soon return as the bridesmaids prepare the bride and the friends of the groom "prepare ye the way of the Lord,"...We who have been chosen, the called out ones, the bride of Christ, are the love of His life, and He is coming for us, soon! Check your oil! Remain filled and faithful! HE IS COMING!!! Amen! Even so, come Lord Jesus!!!

Calling all teens and young adults, and adults too..."If you are a prodigal, I urge you to reconsider your choice to disvow Christianity. Whatever your journey, whatever your age, whatever your gripe against Christians and the church, you at your worst are, like me, no better. Yet you and I at our best can be counted among the humble saints who have trusted that God's grace is greater than the shorcomings of his people. Together we could lovingly challenge the church from within to repent and become truly Christian again." Kinnaman

Dear Heavenly Father, You wait so lovingly, so patiently, with your gaze in the distance looking for the prodigals to return. You are so understanding, so merciful, so full of grace. We are amazed at your love for us. Please intervene and intercept the enemies plans to destroy us. Help us understand the truth of our condition, and return to you where we are safe and where we are certain to be accepted, restored, healed, reconciled, and to recover all that was lost, that we in turn may be lovers of prodigals too, waiting for their return with open arms, extending Your grace. In Jesus Name, amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, we ask that Your Holy Spirit moves upon the waters of our hearts, let YOUR light so shine in us and separate us from the darkness that ever tries to overtake us, that we may be your instruments of love and grace and mercy, spreading the good news of Jesus Christ of Nazareth on the earth...In my Jesus' name!
