Day 4. We moved a LOT of brick, dirt, rock, and ended the evening with more discussion about Nehemiah and how just like his team, we each worked different jobs leading to a common goal of representing Jesus and His church to this Bethel Honduras community.

If you need a crew (free of charge) to clean up or mud out your home or property that was damaged or destroyed by the flood, please go to the community resource center at the old gym at the high school. Your information will be directed to groups who will be helping in the clean up efforts.

The Churches of Christ Disaster Response Team is here from Ohio, and is coordinating volunteer work crews. Groups who want to help need to go online to fillout the volunteer form to help organizers know how many are coming and what their special skills are. https://www.churchesofchristdrt.org/

Anyone affected by the flood is invited to come pick up food, cleaning supplies and tools, water, first aid supplies, insect repellent, and other items at the Fort Gibson church of Christ. Our distribution center is located behind our building at 806 S Lee St, and is open 8am to 7pm. @ Fort Gibson Church of Christ

Our number for worship was cut in half because of floodwaters closing highway 62 and other reasons stemming from the flood, but it was still nice to get together and worship God. Our prayers are with many of our members who lost homes, property, and crops.
