#1. Faith Formation begins Sunday morning (Sept. 13). Classes are held for both STJ and SMSP at the rectory behind SMSP at 8:45am.
#2. This is Catechetical Weekend at Masses where the catechists will be blessed.
#3. Our Parish Picnic is tomorrow also! Bring your favorite dish to the Kingsbury Firehouse on Burgoyne Avenue in HF. Games, food and fellowship from 12pm-2pm.

Today, we join together in prayerful remembrance of the victims of that tragic day. We ask God to surround their loved ones with His peace and healing, to bless the first responders whose courage inspired a nation, and to keep alive the spirit of compassion and unity that emerged in the face of loss. May we always remember on this Patriot Day.
Join us at STJ for Adoration and Confession at 4:30pm, Rosary at 5pm and Mass at 5:30pm.

Dear God, We ask that You bless the students in our congregation, giving them inspirational teachers, studious habits, solid friendships, and Your grace in every moment of this school year.

Bless the teachers and school staff in our congregation, too. Fill them with Your love and care so that, as they teach and minister to our young people, Your wisdom and light may be known, encountered, and shared.
Amen.

Today the Church celebrates the birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Her nativity reminds us of God's loving plan of salvation and the hope that entered the world through her. May we follow Mary's example of faith and trust each day. Happy Birthday, Blessed Mother!
