Chapel Next Fort Drum

Chapel Next Fort Drum Chapel Next is a contemporary Christian community meeting at 1100 every Sunday at Main Post Chapel. We accomplish this by working toward our core values:
1.

Chapel Next Fort Drum's mission is "leaning on Christ together through the good, the bad & the ugly." Christ Centered - We are a community that follows Christ & makes Christ known by reaching up, reaching in, & reaching out.
2. Community Focused - We are an adaptive community who exists to help sojourning Army Families & Soldiers experience Christ together.
3. Discipleship Driven - We help each

other grow more Christ-like by instilling His values & reproducing His teaching in our lives.
4. Authentic - We love genuinely, live passionately & labor together with Christ. Our vision statement:
Find Hope. Find Rest. You Belong Here. Due to ongoing HVAC renovations in our location, children (preschool & younger) are welcome & encouraged to join us for the duration of the service. Engaging children's church is available for ages K-5th during the sermon portion of the service. We look forward to seeing you this Sunday morning at 1100 in the Main Post Chapel.

🙏Merry Christmas Chapel Next! 🙏

Last night, Surround by candlelight, we were reminded again how good the Light of the World truly is.
Luke 1:31–33 tells us that Jesus was born not just as a baby in a manger, but as a King whose kingdom will never end. His light didn’t come to overwhelm the world — it came to gently pierce the darkness, one heart at a time.
As we sang Silent Night, the words felt especially true — “holy night… all is calm, all is bright.” In that quiet glow, it was a reminder that Christ’s light doesn’t shout. It rests, it soothes, and it brings peace to weary hearts.
In a world that often feels heavy and uncertain, His light still shines steady and true. Not rushed. Not flickering. Not fading.
Just enough light to guide us, comfort us, and remind us that hope was born.

Sunday Reflection – Chapel Next Community
This morning’s message from Chaplain Morrow really touched my heart. He shared from Ephesians 5:1–2, reminding us to “be imitators of God, as dearly loved children, and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”
In the Old Testament, all the way back in Exodus, when Moses built the Tabernacle of Meeting, God’s people would bring their offerings and sacrifices to atone for sin and to draw near to His presence. But through Jesus, everything changed — Christ became the ultimate and final sacrifice, the fulfillment of every offering ever made. His life and His love opened the way for us to walk closely with God, not through rituals or burnt offerings, but through relationship.
Jesus’ words in Matthew 22:37–40 tie it all together: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.” That love is now our highest offering — the way we reflect Him in this world.

🙏🙏🎉Challenge for the Week🎉🙏🙏🙏

Let’s each do one small thing every day that imitates Christ’s love — forgive quickly, speak kindly, or show compassion to someone who needs it. Our quiet acts of love are the living aroma of His sacrifice.
🙌So thankful for this reminder today and for our Chapel Next family — walking together in love and grace. 🙌
