Grace and truth
John 1:16-17 NASB1995
[16] For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace. [17] For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ.

Grace and Truth were made known through the man Jesus.

He gave Grace upon Grace not sparingly but in abundance in his fullness it overflows into our emptiness it strengthens it forgives and he gives intentionally to those in need.

Our part is to be willing to receive.

The Word became flesh
John 1:14 NASB1995
[14] And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

The word that was in the beginning and the word that was God now here becomes flesh. And the Word was seen. And the word was same as the glory of God begotten from the father and full of grace and truth.

Now if you're a Christian you have come to terms that Jesus lived died Rose and ascended to heaven. But you can still see that he is dwelling with you today think about it. How is he still dwelling with you today take a moment and thank him.

Take a few minutes and read John chapter 1 through again today

A right to become
John 1:12 NASB1995
[12] But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,

Think about that the right to become. Salvation is not just forgiveness it's adoption, you were not merely saved you were claimed. You have a new identity as God's child.

Let that identity shape you and your confidence and your decisions. And if you've been a Christian a while maybe it's time to remember and share that testimony with somebody else today.

Life and Light
John 1:4-5 NASB1995
[4] In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. [5] The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Jesus is the light of the world that steps into darkness. He steps into the darkness of our heart and into the depths of our soul. When we have doubts ask Jesus to step into those areas of our lives to dispel the darkness out.

Jesus brings life that pushes back to darkness that never wins against Him.

Take the time to read at least John chapter 1 today.

Fulfill your ministry
Colossians 4:17 NASB1995
[17] Say to Archippus, “Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it.”

The Lord is giving it each of us a ministry to fulfill a service to complete. It's not just for people in leadership at the church. It's for ordinary members it's for you it's for me.

He's giving us a task to do to be Jesus hands and feet an ordinary life. What is God entrusted to you and your family in your work and your church service? Commit to fulfilling it faithfully this week.

On your behalf
Colossians 4:10, 12-13 NASB1995
[10] Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, sends you his greetings; and also Barnabas’s cousin Mark (about whom you received instructions; if he comes to you, welcome him);
[12] Epaphras, who is one of your number, a bondslave of Jesus Christ, sends you his greetings, always laboring earnestly for you in his prayers, that you may stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God. [13] For I testify for him that he has a deep concern for you and for those who are in Laodicea and Hierapolis.

Here we have Paul recognizing one of many that were laboring, struggling on behalf of others in prayers.

Today praying intentionally for one person not a quick prayer but a focused heartfelt prayer of intercession for someone.

Seasoned speech
Colossians 4:6 NASB1995
[6] Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.

Let your speech let your conversations be filled with grace for Grace's powerful. It's like salt that preserves enhances and hails your words can do the same.

Speak in such a manner that reflects Christ kindness, His truth and His love.

At a pinch of love and a pinch of Grace into your speech today with somebody it can make a world of difference.
