We all love the joy of Easter morning, but the victory of the empty tomb is even more powerful when you’ve walked the road that leads there.

This Sunday, we’re kicking off Holy Week with Palm Sunday. It’s more than just traditions and palm branches; it’s about welcoming the King who came not to be served, but to serve. Come find your place in the story before the celebration of the Resurrection.

Bring the whole family—we have something for everyone!

Ever miss a day (or a week) in your Bible… and suddenly you feel like you can never catch up? Then you let guilt settle in like a treasured possession? But God doesn't "guilt" us. He longs for our company and welcomes us ALWAYS. Guilt left unchecked can encourage us to hide from God and our time in His word. But God's grace means God is waiting for us with open arms.

We can all get behind, fall into old habits, let worry and fear consume us, and feel overwhelmed by our daily lives. But if we make the time to go to God in prayer and spend time in His word (the Bible), He will consistently redeem that time and we will find renewed strength, clarified purpose, peace that defies our understanding in the midst of all the turmoil.

Won't you join us today as we read through God's word in a year? If you've fallen behind, it's OK. Don't let that stop you from moving forward. Don't miss the blessing of a better understanding of who God is and what He has planned for your life.

Scripture: “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence…” Hebrews 4:16

Do you sometimes find your weekends "empty", or worse yet, filled with regret? Do you long for a life filled with purpose, or peace that passes understanding? Are you seeking a place to belong?
So many of us have felt we needed to "clean up" before we could go to church. But Jesus said, "The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them." God doesn't need us to get our act together. That's why He sent Jesus.
Jesus also said, "Come to Me, all you who are weary and heavy burdened, and I will give you rest." Won't you join us this week and see what it's like to learn about God in a safe and welcoming environment?
Sunday School: 9:15
Sunday Church Service: 10:30
Midweek Bible Study: Wednesdays 10 a.m.
All are welcome! Come as you are!

Don't forget to join us today at 4:00 for fun and fellowship at Rolling Hills Community Church. We'll start with a soup dinner. Bring your own beverage, and an appetizer OR dessert to share. Then we'll play Bunco! We split into tables but after each round, we rotate so you get time with everyone who's participating. It's a great way to get to know people.

So, whether you're a member, regular attender, occasional visitor, or just looking for something fun to do today, all are welcome! We hope to see you there!

As we begin the new year and look to make healthy changes in our lives, it's beneficial to replace old habits with new habits. Pastor Dave is encouraging each of us to join him as he reads through the Bible in a year. I'm excited to begin this journey with others and really dig in to God's word, however, I know it will take commitment and I, for one, need some tools to keep me focused and on track.

There are many options available online and through apps for your phone or table. I'm going to be using the reading plan available through bible.com. Here is a link if you'd like to have a look.

https://www.bible.com/reading-plans/60-the-one-year-bible

I have to admit, it can seem like a daunting task and I got off to a rough start. We've had some health issues that caused me to fall behind, but this plan only takes about 15 minutes a day and it tracks your progress so you know exactly where you left off. It also has the option of having it read allowed to you as you follow along. Last night I was able to bring myself current through a combination of reading it to myself and having the application read it to me. Not only that, when I reached the end of the scheduled reading, I was anxious to keep going.

Won't you join us as we read through the Bible this year? It's not too late to start a new habit that is sure to reap benefits for the rest of your life.

If you have tools you like to use, feel free to share them in the comments. It's going to be an AMAZING year of growth and discovery as we learn first hand the message God has for each of us and begin to apply His word to our lives!

Experience the insights and joy gained from reading the entire Bible. You can do it in as little as 15 minutes a day with The One Year ® Bible, the world's most popular annual reading Bible. Daily readings from the Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs will guide you through God's Word...
