The Offering Plate
People experience one of two feelings when this is handed to them… money or mission.
TRUTH: It has nothing to do with portion, percentage, or provision - it is a matter of your heart, which is the only thing God is ever after.
The offering plate doesn’t represent money it represents mission, SO when the plate is handed to you, you can pitch in or get in.
Some people believe enough in the mission to pitch in - every church needs you.
Other people believe enough in the mission to get in.
As Believers We Are All Called To Get In.
The progression or journey looks like this:
Be, Believe, Become, Build.
The builders are the ones who get in and live on mission.
I am confident that in the 12 years Of Ministry at The Grove, the offering plate never represented money — it represented Mission and The Mission Was Good!
When it comes to the offering plate, you can pitch in — throw a few bucks, leave a tip, tithe OR you can get in — believe in the mission so much that you give your whole self.
TRUTH: Very few believers get into the plate with both feet.
For all who pitched in and supported the mission, Thank You!
Your giving led to hundreds of people finding hope and Freedom in Jesus! You played an instrumental part in what God did through The Grove.
To the few who stepped in — you are the boots on the ground! You gave financially, you used your gifts, you sewed your time. You gave your whole heart, you are the mission. What God did through you is nothing short of a miracle, THANK YOU!
To Those Who Started, Sustained, And Stepped Into The Plate: Julie, Joseph, Nicole, Rebecca, Robert, Julie, Ryan, Linley, Elizabeth, Victoria, Dennis, Ashley, Jarrett, Wyatt, and the rest of the team: We Are Grateful To Be On Mission With You!

REMEMBER: Anybody can pitch in, it takes your whole heart to get in, and what’s special about the plate is even when you have nothing to give, you can still give yourself and that’s all God has ever wanted.
