What comfort are you seeking in life?

Jesus Christ was the greatest person to ever live, as He lived a life devoted to those around Him, without sinning or taking thought for Himself. Through the whole event called the Atonement, Christ was able to pay the price for all of us to be saved and to live with Him in heaven. He called us His friends in John 15:13, where He says, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."

When have you felt the scriptures help you in your life?

The adversary is ever present in our lives but Heavenly Father has given us tools like the scriptures to help protect us. Our friend Clayton told us his story about leaning on the scriptures.

In what times of your life have you seen God direct your path?

This is a fantastic example of an experience Bud Van Horn had that shows how God places us in certain places at certain times with certain people to bless us, and those we are around. We can bless others by serving them and following Christ's example. When we do this, we align our will with God's, and feel His love.

Proverbs 3:5-6

How does God speak to us?

Amos 3:7 "Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets."

God speaks to us personally through impressions, as well as through His servants, the prophets. The guidance and counsel that they receive from God help to lead and protect the followers of Christ. The prophet Joseph Smith was chosen and led by God to restore the Church of Christ to the earth for these last days.

"Behold, I am the law, and the light. Look unto me, and endure to the end, and ye shall live; for unto him that endureth to the end will I give eternal life." (3 Nephi 15:9)

This scripture is found in the Book of Mormon, which is Another Testament of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ invites us to continue in faith and not give up. He promises that if we make it through the trials and hard times of life, we will be blessed for trusting Him.
