Þat kann ek it átta, er öllum er
nytsamligt at nema:
hvars hatr vex með hildings sonum
þat má ek bæta brátt.

The eight I know not alone,
but all should know this.
When hatred grows amongst men,
Should you step up to soothe it

This is another stanza from Havamal, the row "hvars hatr vex með hildings sonum" would literally mean when hatred grows within warriors sons, but i used men as in general 'people' or 'humans'. This one speaks about if you see conflict arising, especially between people that are capable of harming one another, then you should step in and calm the situation, not escalate it. Many people like to believe they are strong willed and so, but would lock up in situations where they could use talking to soothe a situation, instead of instigating it. And this goes also preemptively, to not stir up things.

Áine
Irish spelling: Áine
Pronunciation: Awn-yah
Meaning: Brightness, radiance, joy
Origin: Munster

Áine is a traditional Irish girls’ name strongly associated with Munster, particularly County Limerick. In early Irish literature and later folklore, Áine appears as a supernatural female figure connected with the landscape around Cnoc Áine.

Some medieval sources link her with themes of fertility and sovereignty, though interpretations vary and she is not presented as a political ruler in the historical record. Local tradition in parts of Munster preserved midsummer customs on hills connected to her name, especially at Knockainey, suggesting a long cultural memory tied to season and place.

Áine belongs to Ireland’s mythological tradition rather than documented history. As a given name, it endures through its meaning of brightness and its deep regional roots in Munster.
