August 20 is the feast day of St. Bernard of Clairvaux, known for his devotion to Mary and promotion of the Memorare.

Of this Doctor of the Church, Benedict XVI said, “He was also remembered as a Doctor of Mariology, not because he wrote extensively on Our Lady, but because he understood her essential role in the Church, presenting her as the perfect model of the monastic life and of every other form of the Christian life.”

A wonderful church picnic and welcome party for our new priest, Fr. Seejo! Deacon Joe also joined us! Thank you to the Altar Society for hosting a delicious meal. The kids enjoyed a foam party! The weather was so beautiful today. God is good!💒☀️🫧🙏🏻
