Cooler temperatures were welcomed today for Sunday Funday. Residents of America's Best Value Inn and members of Grace UMC Forsyth enjoyed the comfortable monthly time of food, fellowship and fun. This continuing ministry of Grace UMC -- taking church outside the walls of the sanctuary and into the community --has become important to all involved. It's a joined experience of God's love shared by neighbors.

🎵 Where charity and love prevail,
there God is ever found;
Brought here together by Christ’s love,
by love are we thus bound. 🎶
---Hymn by Omer Westendorf

Sunday Funday at America's Best Value Inn brought members of Grace UMC Forsyth side-by-side with community members for a meal, some fun, useful items, conversation and fellowship, and, for some, just to be quiet and reflective. As always, it's a blessed day when charity and love prevail.
God is Good, All the Time!

What a fun morning helping so many students get ready for the first day of school! Grace UMC Forsyth joined several dozen community organizations in providing school supplies at Monroe County Schools’ “Back to School Bash.” Grace UMC members also passed along high fives, words of encouragement . . and a piece of candy. Our prayers are for a successful and safe year of learning for all students, teachers and staff starting this Monday.

"Jesus loves me still today, walking with me on my way, wanting as a friend to give light and love to all who live."

Grace UMC Forsyth's monthly Sunday Funday was all about sharing God's love. Residents of America's Best Value Inn were able to receive a great meal and lots of useful items for every day life. Thank you, church members, for giving of your time, talents and gifts. And thank you, hotel residents, for sharing with us and for being our family.

"Yes, Jesus love us all!"
