Our amazing friends at Rob’s Place will be taking over the service at Living Word Community Church so you know it’s going to be good!
They have been practicing & we had chills & tears watching them already. They will be greeters, ushers, helping with praise & worship, & scripture reading. 🚨 Answering the Call: Monroe County First Responders Appreciation Day 🚒🚓🚑

On Wednesday, October 28, the Forsyth-Monroe County Chamber of Commerce is proud to host Monroe County First Responders Appreciation Day, presented by Google.

Our first responders answer the call every day — serving, protecting, responding, and supporting our community when we need them most. Now it’s our turn to show them just how much their service means to Monroe County.

Throughout the day, we’ll be honoring law enforcement, fire personnel, EMS, emergency management, dispatchers, and GPSTC through planned station visits, appreciation baskets, meals, and other acts of gratitude.

There are several ways for local businesses, organizations, and community members to get involved through sponsorships, donations, in-kind contributions, and volunteering.

We all have different strengths, abilities, and resources to use in serving others as gifts from God. Scripture calls us to utilize our God-given gifts in serving our neighbor with love and humility. As Christ loves us, we should love others being faithful disciples of our Lord.
