Meditation - Jesus Always
This is what I say - I who made you, who formed you in the womb, and who will help you: Do not be afraid. I have always been involved in your life, even before you were born. Because you are Mine, purchased with my own blood, you can count on My promise to help you as you journey through this world. This is how you gain victory over fear: through trusting in My ever present help. The problem arises when you gaze too long into the future, trying to visualize and take control of those not yet events. A future focus can easily deteriorate into a problem focus. Weeds of worry and fear spring up quickly into this sort of "soil". When you realize this has happened, turn away from your worries and back to the One who is lovingly present with you. Rejoice that I will still be with you when you arrive at each coming stage of your journey. Lean hard on My Presence, trusting Me to help you today and all the days of your life. Daily Meditation: Jesus Always
I want you to linger in gratitude. This is a most delightful place where the Joy of My Presence shines warmly upon you. You often pray fervently for something until you receive the answer you desire. When I grant your request, you respond joyfully and thankfully. But your tendency is to move on rather quickly to the next matter. I want you to remain for a while in an attitude of grateful Joy. Instead of experiencing only a short lived burst of gratitude, let this pleasure flow freely into the future by training yourself to recall what I have done. One way is to tell others about it. This blesses both them and you, and it pleases Me. Another way is to write down the prayer and the answer someplace where you will see it again and again. Keep bringing your gratitude to Me. This thankfulness will bless you doubly with happy memories of answered prayer and with the delight of sharing Joy with Me. Psalm 95:2 NKJV; 1 Corinthians 15:57; 1 Chronicles 16:12 NKJV

Daily Meditation: Jesus Always
I know about every one of your troubles. I have collected all your tears and preserved them in My bottle. So don't be afraid of tears - or of the hardships that cause them. Your problems are not random or meaningless. I'm calling you to trust not only in Me but also in My Sovereignty. I know what I am doing! Because My perspective is infinite - unlimited by time or space - My ways of working in the world are often beyond your comprehension. If it were possible for you to see things from My God-perspective, you would understand the perfection of my will - and revel in My Glory. But now you see only a poor reflection, so you must learn to live with mystery. I have collected your tears in My bottle because you are exceedingly precious to Me. And someday I will wipe every tear from your eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain. Rejoice in this glorious, heavenly future awaiting you! Daily Meditation: Jesus Always

It is only as I work that anything really works well. When what you are doing is pleasing to Me, I come alongside you - helping in your endeavor. Sometimes you’re aware of my empowering Presence, and at other times you are not. But the more you turn to Me for guidance and help, the more blessings I shower on you. Some of the blessings are work-oriented; others are matters of the heart. Awareness of My Presence increases your sense of security and fills you with joy. I am training you to look for Me wherever you are, in all situations. There will be times when you have to look through your circumstances to find signs of My radiant Presence. Imagine gazing through a dirty window into a gorgeous, sun-drenched garden. If you focus on the dirt that’s on the glass, you’ll miss the exquisite beauty of the garden. Just as you can train your eyes to see the splendor beyond the window, you can learn to look through your circumstances and “see” My Face shining upon you. Seek to find Me everywhere. Colossians 1:29; Acts 2:28; Numbers 6:24-25 NKJV.

Good Morning: You are always in our prayers.

Today’s Meditation: Jesus Always

Trusting Me is the alternative to falling into despair or escaping into unreality. When you’re in the midst of adversity, it can be hard to think clearly. Yet this is when it’s vitally important to make wise decisions. Sometimes it’s as if choices are swirling around you, waiting for you to grab onto the right one. However, there is one choice that is always appropriate and always effective: the decision to trust Me with all your heart and mind. If you’re on the verge of sliding into the depths of despair, stop and declare your trust in Me. Whisper it, speak it, shout it! Spend some time thinking about all the reasons you have for being confident in Me. Remember and rejoice in My endless, unfailing Love for you. If you’ve been numbing your pain through denial of reality, expressing your trust can bring you into contact with ultimate Reality - Me! Confide in Me, beloved, for I am infinitely knowing. I understand everything about your circumstances, and I will help you. Proverbs 3:5 AMP; Psalm 52:8; Isaiah 41:13

Daily Meditation - Jesus Always

The present moment is the point where time intersects eternity. It is also the place where you can encounter Me - your eternal Savior. So keep your thoughts focused on the present as much as you can, enjoying My Presence here and now. Invite Me into whatever you are engaged in. Asking Me to help you do your work heartily. Working collaboratively with Me lightens your load and enables you to be more effective. Share with Me not only your work but also your leisure - thanking Me for both. When something upsets you, don’t let fearful or obsessive thoughts take over your mind. Instead, talk with Me about whatever is troubling you. Then cast all your anxiety on Me, knowing that I care for you. If you ask, I will open your eyes and awaken your heart so you can see more fully all that the present contains. I delight in meeting with you in your wide-awake heart! I came into the world so that you may have life in abundance - till it overflows. Colossians 3:23 NASB; 1 Peter 5:7; John 10:10 AMP

Good Morning from Taylor Chapel CME Church

Meditation: Jesus Always

Let me satisfy you in the morning with My unfailing Love, that you may sing for Joy and be glad all your days. People seek satisfaction in a vast variety of hurtful ways, many of which are addicting. Even good things can fail to satisfy you if you elevate them above Me. So come to Me each morning with your emptiness and longings. Sit quietly in My Presence, communing with Me. Invite Me to fill you up to the full with My limitless Love. Ponder how wide and long and high and deep is this vast ocean of blessing. Finding your satisfaction in Me above all else provides a firm foundation for your life. Building on this solid foundation enables you to be joyful and glad as you go through your days. You will still encounter hardships because you live in a broken world. However, I will lovingly guide you along your way as you cling to Me in trust. Then your life will be meaningful and satisfying while you’re traveling toward your ultimate goal: the gates of Glory! Psalm 90:14; Ephesians 3:17-19; Psalm 73:24 NKJV.

Daily Meditation: Jesus Always
I am worthy of all your confidence, all your trust. So refuse to let world events spook you. Instead, pour your energy into trusting Me and looking for evidence of My Presence in the world. Whisper My Name to reconnect your heart and mind to Me quickly. I am near to all who call upon Me. Let Me wrap you up in My abiding Presence and comfort you with My Peace. Remember that I am both loving and faithful. My Love reaches to the heavens, My faithfulness to the skies! This means you can never come to the end of My Love. It is limitless and everlasting. Moreover, you can stand on the Rock of my faithfulness, no matter what circumstances you may be facing. People routinely put their confidence in their abilities, education, wealth, or appearance. But I urge you to place your confidence fully in Me - the Savior whose sacrificial death and miraculous resurrection opened the way for you into eternal Glory!

Meditation JESUS ALWAYS: Trust in Me at all times. Pour out your heart to Me, for I am your refuge. The more you rely on Me, the more effectively I can help you. Trusting Me is appropriate for all circumstances: joyful and sorrowful, peaceful and stressful. In fact, things that cause you stress can serve as reminders to seek My Face. I want you to remember that I am with you, taking care of you, even when life hurts. Talk with Me about your troubles and leave them with Me. Then rest in My Presence while I go to work on your behalf.
Tell yourself the truth about Me. Use words of scripture to describe Me: “You are my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom we trust,”. I am indeed a refuge-a safe place to find shelter in the storms of life. Speaking or singing such truths is an effective way to draw near to Me. Your mind usually has several thoughts or thought-fragments passing through it at once. Instead of just thinking about Me, speak out loud; this gives focus to your thoughts and to your trust in Me. Psalm 62:8; 1 Chronicles 16:11 NKJV; 1 Peter 5:7; Psalm 91:2
