Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8).
On today, let’s emphasize “sober.”
Sleep, calm, nutritional balance, avoiding alcohol, avoiding drugs (excluding prescription care under doctor/psychiatric guidance), emotional regulation, prayer, etc. – all these things contribute to you being at your best to resist the devil and abide in God’s grace.
May the sober mindedness of Christ Jesus marinate your heart and magnify your soul in His name, Amen.
