Jesus Shines Ministries

Jesus Shines Ministries The primary desire of Jesus Shines Ministries is to win the lost to Christ, and raise up warriors! So what are we to do during these perilous times?

In the inspired Word of God the Bible, in books like 2nd Peter, 1st Timothy and 1 John, we find that many false teachers and prophets will arise during the end times as we wait for the return of our Saviour Jesus Christ. We are made aware that these teachers will preach false doctrines and heresies that will lead many people away from the True Gospel teachings of Jesus Christ and the Apostles. Dur

ing these times, people will become distraught, uneasy and even fearful as they see destruction and abomination unfold in the world. Why has Jesus not returned? According to 2nd Peter 3:9, the Lord says He is patient with us because it is His desire that "none should perish, but that all should come to repentance". Our Father in Heaven will slow the return of our Savior Jesus so that everyone has the chance to be saved and enter the Kingdom of Heaven. It is also our desire here at Jesus Shines Ministries that none should perish in their sins, but instead, be set free, Empowered by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and set up for a Victorious life through Christ. In order for Jesus Shines to be obedient to what our Father has called us to do, it is imperative that we "study to show ourselves approved before God and properly divide the word of truth" in order to bring sound doctrine and teachings. (2 Timothy 2:15)

As Ambassadors of Christ, Pastors and Shepherds of a flock have the responsibility for the care and feeding of their sheep. With sound doctrine and the gifting that God has given them, they impart revelation and the uncompromised word to their congregation. They also identify, train and develop leaders. It is written that God has given different gifts and callings to each of His Pastors and we take great joy in helping these future leaders to discover who they are in Christ. The primary desire and purpose of Jesus Shines Ministries is to lead the lost to salvation through Jesus Christ. It is also our desire to assist individuals to recognize and move into their gifts and callings in God’s kingdom and to increase their awareness of where we are on God’s prophetic timetable. It is imperative that the body of Christ get active in the plan of God and the great end time harvest. In order for a congregation to fulfill the great commission of Mark 16:15 – (“And he said unto them, Go you into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”) that congregation must be trained, prepared and ready to operate outside the confines of its building(s) and property.

The Disciple Whom Jesus Loved

John 13:23
“Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.”

Our Identity is "Beloved".

The Apostle John had a very good understanding of this Identity, which is why he always referred to himself as "The Disciple whom Jesus Loved". Throughout the book of John, he made this bold statement of identity 5 times. The number 5 coincidentally represents the number of Grace.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Before John fully understood what Jesus came to do, his identity was engulfed in Jesus's love for him.

Why would he Embrace this identity of love so strongly, unless he somehow knew it was the "Secret" to transformation that would eventually lead to the New Creation.

John must have instinctively known that our identity in the Love of Christ held the key to power, mind renewal, and resurrection life. This whole story is about Gods love for us and becoming who we are in him.

Throughout all the gospels, we see Jesus's identity On full display. It was always a display of love. Love was always the identity Jesus walked in. It was the example and the Identity he chose for us.

Not only was Jesus the perfect example of love, he also commanded his disciples to be living examples of his love. For what purpose? So people could "IDENTIFY" them.

John 13:34-35
³⁴ “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
³⁵ By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Paul also understood the importance of having the "Identity of love" and boldly stated that without it, we are nothing....in other words, without our primary identity being "The Beloved", we would be in an identity crisis not knowing Who We Are.

1 Corinthians 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing.

Nothing is translated to the Greek Word (οὐδείς oudeis) which means "No one" as is "No identity".

I believe that somehow through revelation of the Holy Spirit, John understood this, which is why his identity was fully immersed in Jesus's love for him.

It was no mistake that out of all the other disciples, Jesus chose John to care for his mother. He knew that Johns identity was secured in his love, so he chose him to be the extension of his own heart towards his mother Mary.

It is through Gods kind of love that power and great Revelation comes. It is also, no mistake, that God chose John to write the Book of Revelation, and Paul to nearly half of the New Testament.
---
Father, I thank you that each and every day you encourage me, strengthen me, and enable me, to love with the kind of love you put on full display on the cross.

I thank you Lord, then each and every day, the Holy Spirit empowers me to walk in my true identity, as the Beloved of God, the one whom Jesus Loves. Amen

The Power of the Blood - 1 John 1-2

John opens explaining what a life of saved person looks like.

Then John distictly points out two groups of people. The first rejects Christ, they do not walk in the light or the truth. They say they have no sins and do not need a savior. The other group is saved, and "Walk in the light".

In the 1 John 1, he explains salvation, the message they have been preaching and says this.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

When does this event happen, in verse 9, when all our sins are forgiven? At the moment of our conversion/accepting Christ as Lord and Savior. Every sin, past, present, and future is paid in full.

What happens after that? We become a new creation. All our sins are permanently stricken from the record through the blood of Christ, never to be remembered again.

Hebrews 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Psalms 103:12
As far as the east is from the west,
so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

What happens if we sin as believers? This subject for believeres is clearly explained in 1 John 2.

1 John 2:1-2
¹ My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
² And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Why is it important to know this?

Because once we are purified and Washed by the blood of Jesus, sin is no longer our identity or the focus. We are a new creation, old things have passed away and we should now focus on our new identity in HIS Holiness and HIS righteousness. (2 Cor 5:17)

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Being a new creation is a "Spiritual Reality" that we are called to focus on and set our minds on things that are above.

Colossians 3:2 "Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things"

This calls believers to prioritize eternal, spiritual realities.

Hebrews 10 says since we are now purified, We are should no longer be "sin conscious". We move on a focus on our freedom and new identity in Christ.

Hebrews 10:2 ......because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.

Because we are Sons of the Most High, we confidently approach God through the righteousness and holiness the Blood of Christ provides us.

When we are examining ourselves for the truth....we should see Christ, not us. And if we are looking at Christ, we are receiving all continual cleansing of his blood, which produces all the love, joy, peace, mercy, deliverance, forgiveness and healing provided to us through Jesus.

Todays Wisdom from the Word

1 Peter 2:2-3
“As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.”
---
Meaning of the Passage

1. “As newborn babes”

Peter compares believers to newborn babies. Why?

Because just like babies are born into physical life, believers are born again into spiritual life.

A newborn is:
• Dependent
• Hungry
• Eager to grow
• Constantly feeding

Peter is saying: that’s how you should approach God’s Word.
---
2. “Desire the sincere milk of the word”
• “Desire” = crave intensely, long for
• “Sincere” = pure, unadulterated, without corruption
• “Milk of the word” = the basic, essential teachings of God
• The gospel
• God’s character
• Christ’s work
• how to live as a believer
---
Meaning:
Just as a baby must drink milk to survive and grow, a believer must take in Scripture to grow spiritually.
• This is an active hunger.
---
3. “That ye may grow thereby”

The purpose of feeding on the Word is growth:
• spiritual strength
• wisdom
• maturity
• discernment
• Christlike character
• overcoming sin

Growth is not automatic.
• It happens through continual nourishment from the Word.
---
4. “If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.”

This final phrase ties everything together.
• “Tasted” = experienced
• “The Lord is gracious” = His goodness, mercy, salvation, kindness

Peter is saying:

If you have truly experienced God’s goodness in salvation, then the natural response is to crave more of Him.

Just like once you’ve tasted something sweet, you want more.
• If you’ve tasted Christ’s grace:
• you want to know Him
• you hunger for His Word
• you want more of His presence
• you desire spiritual growth
---

Summary:

Because you’ve experienced the goodness of Jesus, crave His Word with the same intensity that a newborn craves milk, so you can grow spiritually and mature in your faith.
---

Practical Application

1. Develop a daily habit of Scripture
Not out of duty, but desire.

2. Remove spiritual junk food
(earlier in 1 Peter 2:1) (These things kill spiritual appetite.)
• malice
• deceit
• hypocrisy
• envy
• slander

3. Ask God to increase your hunger
• Spiritual growth begins with desire.

4. Reflect on God’s goodness
• The more you remember His grace, the more you want Him.

For those who don't know Charlie Kirk. He was a Father, a husband and a great friend to many. He was a man who Loved People, Loved Truth, and loved people enough to tell them the truth.

More importantly he loved Jesus and faithfully fulfilled what God called him to do. He walked with humility and was always patient and kind to all. His heart was for the youth of our Nation, and his mission was to reveal truth with integrity and grace.

On 9/10/25 Charlie was assassinated and Martyred because he was effective at defending truth and exposing the lies of the devil and their demonic agendas.

He was Martyred because he exercised his Amemdment rights; freedom of speech and freedom of religion and used them to spread the Gospel and reveal truth to people who were disillusioned with lies.

Charlie Kirk will not only be remembered as one of the most influential, kind, and effective political conservative voices, but he will also be remembered as a steadfast defender and preacher of the Gospel. Charlie now has a Martyrs crown to give to Jesus!

He may have been silenced, but the Body of Christ will not be. We will walk boldly and fearlessly before our God in obedience. We will not cower to the lies and the agenda of the demonic. We will stand boldly and defend the Gospel, defend truth, and defend our Nation against the ungodly who seek to destroy it.

Freedom is not free. The freedom you enjoy today exisit because someone died for it. Remember that, because freedom comes at a cost and if your not willing to fight for it, it will be taken from you.

Something to pray about....

If we do not see and believe how much God loves us, how can we love ourselves?

And if we do not love ourselves, how can we love our spouse the way God intended?

Fast, pray, seek, and push for breakthrough this year.

God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.

Have you ever had a dream that you felt was "more than dream?" Perhaps deep in your gut you felt like dream had some kind of significance?

Did you know that God speaks to people all the time in their dreams, but it gets dismissed as "just a dream". The Bible is full of prophetic dreamers and dreams! (JOEL 2:28)

Back on 2/2/21 I had a dream I considered to be "prophetic" in nature. I recorded this dream on my YouTube Channel as a way to Document it's timing and authenticity as a "Prophetic" dream in the event that the dream actually came to pass.

Well, as time has gone by, elements of the dream have come to pass one by one.

That being said, I decided to input my dream into an AI program that turn "words into video."
The results are eye opening.

Don't ignore your dreams. Pray them out with God. You just might have a message for the world to hear.

This is my first attempt to make a video out of my prophetic dreams. I used an AI video generator to do this. Please watch the original video about this dream...

In this teaching, we continue our message on the Topic of Salvation. We dive into what it truly means to be Justified and who is actually responsible for it.

Because of wrong teaching, many Christians are in a legalistic relationship with God, and are unknowingly trying to "earn their salvation". or "Justify themselves by their works.

There are also many Christians who believe that after you are saved, you must earn, keep, or perform to continually "Justify" your Salvation. Is this true?

Let's lay out the scriptures and make the best Biblically sound decision we can.

Ephesians 2:8-10 KJV For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.

Please listen and weigh in on this message. Without the correct understanding of Salvation, there is no Heaven.

Happy Sunday! Did you know that the Salvation message, which is the way we get to heaven, has been one of great debate.

A message of this importance must be given due diligence, and careful study so that we can receive our Eternal salvation promised to us by God.

In this message, we dive deep into the scriptures to answer and prove these questions:

1. Why do I need to be saved (forgiven)
2. How can I be saved (forgiven)
3. Can I earn Salvation?
4. Can I lose Salvation?
5. As a Christian (saved person), do I have to confess every sin to keep my Salvation?

These are all important questions that many people do not have the answer to. This message was taught here in Dallas as a response to what I have seen.....People with no eternal security..

Take your time to listen, take notes, and soak in the truth. Because it is the Truth that sets you free! John 8:32
