Shopping for Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes

Sunday, November 20th
4 – 6 PM

We will go shop at Dollar General and Family Dollar for items to pack in shoe boxes for children all over the world. Folks from our church have donated some money we can spend. If you want to bring your own money to add to the fun that would be great, but not necessary. Then we will come back to wrap and pack our boxes for the children. To top off our time together we will enjoy a pizza supper. Come join the fun!

All students Middle School through High School are welcome to join us! Invite your friends to enjoy this time to shop and wrap gifts for others. Hope to see you at FUBC at 4 on Sunday!

Going Bowling on Thursday! It is well air conditioned so that seems like a wise choice! Meeting at church at 3:30 and heading to Charlottesville for bowling and supper. Let me know if you plan to join us and how many friends you are bringing so I will have enough drivers. Hope to see you there!

Learning from Jesus Followers again tomorrow. This time from a 20th century follower who did amazing things for God in horrible circumstances. Come learn about her ability to see God's love and share God's love in the midst of tragedy. 4 PM Sunday.

In honor of the Superbowl tonight, I have planned some "pigskin" activities, foods and piggie facts. Hope you can come and bring a friend! 4 - 6 PM You can make it home in time for the big game if you are a fan or like to watch the ads like I do.

Youth this afternoon at 4! Come and help make birthday cards for folks on the Meal on Wheels list. We will also be planning for the next couple months. Hot dogs for dinner!

Don't forget from 7-9 tonight we are cooking spaghetti for tomorrow's churchwide luncheon! Any donations we get tomorrow goes to the youth fund!
