During the month of May, we celebrated "Women's Emphasis Month" and chose as an outreach project, a women's shelter in the DMV. We called it "Purses With Purpose". We ordered bags and completely filled each one with several items for women.
Every resident received a purse!
Let me thank our Daughters of Destiny Women's Ministry, and a very special shout out to Sis Sherri McGhee & Trustee Angela Spence for being on task to see this effort through.
Thank you, Rev B. Teresa Harrison for leading our sisters in relevant Ministry.

I have never been drawn to Southern Baptist Convention. The settled history doesn't set well with how I move.
Therefore, I am not at all shocked that they still apply ancient philosophies.
They attempted some years ago to court Black pastors with resources and opportunities. No thnx!
The fact that they object to women pastors is giving Handmaid's Tale vibes.
