Lent begins this week.

These 40 days are a season for prayer, repentance, reflection, and renewal. We slow down, lay aside distractions, and make space for God to search our hearts and draw us closer to Christ as we move toward the hope of Easter.

Join us this Wednesday for our Lenten Service as we begin this sacred journey together. All are welcome!

Join us THIS SUNDAY for an afternoon of good food, friendly competition, and generosity. The Souper Bowl is a soup and chili cook-off where anyone can enter their favorite recipe ($5 entry fee), and everyone gets to taste and participate.

After sampling the soups and chilis, you’ll “vote” by placing a donation toward your favorite(s). The entry that receives the most in donations wins bragging rights for the year.

All money raised will go toward supporting a local family in our community, so every bowl shared makes a difference.

(If you’d like to enter a soup or chili, please let us know. We’d love to have a variety of flavors at the table. Come hungry and bring a friend.)

We have an abundance of fresh Carrots, Green Lettuce, Cilantro and Green Onions. If you can use any, or know anyone who can please come by and take as much as you can use.
