Josh had the privilege of praying with several teens while he was in Kenya! We are still praising Jesus for the many lives that were changed by the power of the gospel. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
A teacher went to visit one of the homes (Kitoben) that attended “Camp Hope!”
She said, "When we arrived, they recited all the memory verses from the week at camp - and I saw a few people doing the motions their teachers had taught them. We sang “Big God” acapella for a little while, and there were still Camp Hope t-shirts being worn under uniforms.
Jen's Swahili “Prayers of Hope" books were absolutely everywhere!! If the kids could complete a task one handed so that they could keep the book in their other hand, they did. They carried the books around as they played with balloons, tucked it in their pocket while they made bracelets, and kept it on their desk next to the schoolwork they were working on.
When I told everyone that their teachers from the U.S. say hi and miss them, their faces lit up with pure joy!" God is so good.!!
