This month marks 13 years that Patricia & I have served at Rock Pike.

We are so grateful that GOD called us to this little white church & all that we've seen HIM accomplish during that time.

One of the many blessings we've seen, has been the gifting of 30 acres of land back in 2020 that we call "East Campus" & the construction of our new "Activity Center".

But RPBC was actually established 78 years ago & held their first service on September 25, 1948 by Pastor William Vest.

This Sunday, June 7, 2026, we will gather at "East Campus" to give our congregation construction progress us date & let you see firsthand all that has been accomplished.

We will celebrate all that GOD has done, the lives HE has redeemed & the place that HE is preparing "On The Other Side".

Join us at 10:30 AM as we honor 78 years of ministry in the Bedford County community, followed by lunch provided by "Lone Wolf Catering".

Bring your Bible, your family & a friend - and let's celebrate together.

A couple of updates for everyone:

A celebration of life for Doug Campbell is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026 @ 2 PM, Rock Pike Baptist Church.

Billy Taylor is home resting & is scheduled for a pacemaker on June 18, 2026.

Tina Lambert is still at Lynchburg General. Doctors have confirmed she has a hernia & a UTI, so they are scheduling her for an MRI & contemplating sending her to a Rehab Facility.

Jeff Foy is home recovering from knee surgery & still has quite a way to go in his healing.

Please remember these in prayer, along with many, many others who are facing health issues, financial struggles & other burdens.

Thanks to everyone who has reached out to these individuals and/or assisted any of those in need.

It is a blessing to Pastor such a loving, caring & genuine group of people.
