Join us at Liberty Lake Park in Bedford, VA!

𝐋𝐖𝐃𝐂 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐇𝐃𝐅 are once again hosting our annual Father’s Day Sunday.

𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥.. we will gather in a shaded pavilion, bathrooms close by, playgrounds for the kids and a pond for fishing.

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐝: Meats (Hamburgers/Hotdogs), Condiments, plates, napkins etc, some drinks
𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠: Side dishes/desserts to share
Pastor Tim Cook will be sharing God's Word and we will enjoy some games and have door prizes!

𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡!
Pastor John has been teaching from the book of 𝐄𝐳𝐞𝐤𝐢𝐞𝐥 and the messages have been convicting and riveting. Our church family asked for a series of studies on the prophets in the Old Testament. Everyone has been soaking it in. It's so cool every Sunday to see eager discussions among the "Yeshiva" gatherings at the end of every message! ❤️

So thankful for a church family who commits to gather together to worship, study God's Word and support each other every week.
With all that's going on in our lives and the world, making time (even just a couple hours a week) to be present in each other's lives does make a difference! ❤️

𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩 𝐬𝐨𝐨𝐧! 💗 
We would not be here without our moms..literally.  
However, we know that Mother’s Day does not mean the same for everyone.  
Some of us... 
~ have moms that have left this earth already. 
~ don’t communicate with our moms. 
~ have moms who are our close friends. 
~ have “substitute” moms.  
~ want to be a mom, but are not yet. 
~ would like a “do over”, as we look back over our younger motherhood years.  
 
So many different perspectives and emotions...but in all we do know that God created moms for a reason.  
We can celebrate His divine plan and purpose... even when we do not understand all the circumstances...we can... “𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐣𝐨𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐰 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬.”

Resurrection Sunday started with joining our hearing church family for the Sunrise Service. The sun peaked out before the clouds took over!  
Then Ken and Kathy Mitchell reminded us through song that Jesus indeed is Risen! Bro. Rick Darnell shared a beautiful Easter message from Philippians 2... considering the example of Jesus, the Anointed One. His mindset needs to become our motivation!  
A beautiful Sunday celebrating our Risen Lord and Savior!
