GRADUATES
• Ja’kyrie Gaines recently graduated from Newton High School. He participated in Family, Career, Community Leaders of America, Art Club, Drama Club, Educators Rising, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Technical Honor Society, and The Technical Student Association. Accomplishments: First Place Drum Major Award, a two- time FCCLA Fashion Design First Place Winner, Served in leadership or office positions in every school organization. He plans to attend East Central Community College and Mississippi State University to pursue a career in Fashion Design.
• Stalyssia Wells recently graduated from Scott Central High School. She participated in Band, Powerlifting , and FBLA. She plans to attend East Central Community College to major in Music Instrumental. She also plans to become a Media Technician to combine her love for music and media.
• James Austin Darby recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor Degree in Biomedical Sciences and Sociology. He has received numerous awards and recognition such as Who’s Who, Best Community Engaged Researcher, and President’s List. He was a member of the Student Government Association, Golden Eagle Welcome Week Leaders, America Medical Student Association, and Forrest General Ambassadors. He plans to attend Howard University College of Medicine to pursue an MD.
• Brittany Parrott recently graduated from The University of Maryland Global Campus with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology. She plans to continue her education and become a Travel School Psychologist. Brittany also plans to create “TT Bria’s Safety Net” and become a life coach for teenagers.
