Don’t forget church today this young man Kayson Harris will be handing bibles and snacks to children at James Crossing from 6 to 7. He has a mission to put bibles in as many young kids that he can we hope you can join us.

Hey Norwood Family! As promised, here is a detailed list of the supplies needed and all of the dates!

Week 1 June 14th- Pencils
Week 2 June 21st- Notebooks (Composition and Spiral) and Loose leaf Notebook paper (wide-ruled and college-ruled)
Week 3 June 28th- Pencil boxes, glue sticks and erasers
Week 4 July 5th- Binders and Divider tabs
Week 5 July 12th- headphones (over the ears for the younger kids and earbuds for the older kids)
Week 6 July 19th- Crayons, markers and dry erase markers
Week 7 July 26th- Scissors (blunt tip and sharp tip), highlighters and pens
Week 8 Aug 2nd- Folders with pockets and graph paper

Extra for the Teachers/classrooms
Paper towels
Ziplock bags
Hand sanitizer
Tissues
Clorox wipes

We will take up a love offering on July 19th to help with backpacks/supplies and bibles

Sign ups will begin on July 19th for Norwood members only, I will open to the public on July 22nd.

Packing date will be on Aug 6th beginning at 6. Pizza will be provided.

Distribution will be on Aug 8th following church service. I will be unable to meet anywhere other than the church for pickup.

Good afternoon Norwood Family! Our Back to School Backpack drive is in full swing! This is our 3rd year of giving fully packed backpacks to children in our community. The need is great and I am so thankful to our church family to help make this happen every year! Our goal this year is to provide 200 backpacks! I am going to provide a list with what supplies are needed every week. This is just a guide and you are more than welcome to bring any supplies that you would like each week. I also am going to list a Teacher supply list. These are not required but as most of us know, teachers have to buy this stuff out of pocket and are not supplied with these necessities so if we can help them out that would be great! This year we are going to add bibles to our backpacks. Our own sweet Kayson Harris inspired this idea and I am so excited to implement it with our backpacks.

I will also list the dates for our love offering to help with backpacks/supplies and bibles, sign ups to receive a backpack, packing the backpacks and distribution of the backpacks.

I (Stacy Campbell) will be out of town the next couple of Sunday’s so all supplies can be put downstairs in the fellowship hall on the table by the wall. If you have any questions please reach out to me!

I am going to make a separate post listing all the supplies and dates since this is already so long. Thank you everyone for all you do to make this a success every year!
