Our Challenge Team made it to Kansas City this week (part of the team pictured here).
Here are their prayer requests for the rest of the week!
Wednesday: Pray for Jennifer’s equipping lab on biblical sexuality in the afternoon, and for students to be learning practical ways to apply biblical truth at home. Pray for friendships in the group to deepen, for healthy group dynamics, and for the ability to work through any challenges while over-tired.
Thursday: This afternoon our group will be doing prayer outreach. Pray for boldness and joy for our students, as this might stretch their comfort zones but also be a chance to experience God in new ways and to be a blessing to others. Pray for ongoing energy for leaders.
Friday: Pray for our “sending huddle,” as we help students process what they’ve learned and be ready to take it home. Pray for meaningful sharing time in our group—and for all of the 5,000 or so students present, they they would be prepared to return home with a deeper faith and hearts ready to serve.
Saturday: Pray for safety on the return drive and good conversations as we head home. Pray for spiritual protection on each student, leader, and family as they re-enter “normal life” and that God would continue the good work He’s begun in each of us.
