We're looking for 15 more volunteers for Shoes of Hope!

This year, more than 100 children are registered to attend Shoes of Hope, and we're praying for a few more people to help make this day extra special.

Our greatest need is for volunteers to serve as Foot Washers.

If you've never heard of that role before, here's what it means.

Before each child tries on their new shoes, Foot Washers invite them to briefly place their feet in a small basin of water. The volunteer gently dries their feet as a symbolic reminder of the way Jesus humbled Himself to serve others.

It's not about washing dirty feet.

It's about communicating to every child, "You are valuable. You are worthy of being served. You are deeply loved."

Afterward, you'll help children and teens find the perfect pair of new shoes and get a front-row seat to one of the best moments of the day—seeing their excitement when they find the pair that's just right.

Mosaic Hope is honored to partner with Least of These Carolinas to host Shoes of Hope each year. Together, we're helping children begin the school year with confidence while encouraging the caregivers who love and care for them.
