Proverbs 10:6
Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.
(Inspiration) The wicked are often known by their speech. Though they can hide what is in their heart and speak to cover it up, at some point inevitably, of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. The wicked are violent against God, His truth, and His people; they rage about looking for some person on whom to vent their anger against God.
(Prayer) O Lord, You have poured down untold blessings of grace upon the head of Your people, but the world is hostile to You, Your Word, and Your children. We walk like Daniel among lions, but You can shut the mouths of the lions. We shine as lights in a pitch-black night, but the darkness cannot overcome the light. We will not fear man, for if God is for us, who can prevail against us? Amen.
