We all have a past that we do not want to talk about. Sometimes we do not think we can recover from the choices we have made. But, that is where the Father has other plans. God's grace and mercy and love is so special to us. 1st John 1:9 states "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Let us be faithful and grow in him so we can have new growth in our life. There is hope, find him today.

This Memorial Day we remember the sacrifice of the ones that was not able to come back home. John 15:13 states "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." We are grateful and are honored for their duties protecting our freedoms that we hold dear to us. Thank you and let us not forget their service.

From all of us at Crestview Baptist Church of Forest City, North Carolina would like to offer everyone a Happy Memorial Day. We sometimes can be in a hurry but times like today, pause and reflect on the price of freedom for the ones that did not come back from the battle. All gave some but some gave all. Let us remember their service so that we can have the freedom that we have.
