Make plans now to attend Crestview Baptist Church in Forest City ...Fall Festival! October 31st! 3:00-5:00 we will have train rides for adults and children, a petting zoo, an inflatable, pumpkin painting, crafts, cake walk, bubble gum drop, face painting, balloon artist, and more! From 4:30-5:30 we will have a hot dog supper and from 5 45- until we will have our trunk or treat! It is all free! Bring your children, families, and friends and come on out for an enjoyable time of Christian Fellowship with us! Your children can dress up as their favorite characters or whatever they want to dress up like. Or they don't have to dress up at all. Non scary dress/costumes would be preferred. Our cake walk will be around 4:00 and our bubble gum drop will be around 4:45. We have signed up to have pony rides too. But they are having trouble getting people to work that day so we can't promise the pony rides....but we have reserved them in hopes they can find workers willing to work that day!
I would also like to give a huge shout out to Chrissaay Smith for making our beautiful sign that is outside our church.... advertising our Fall Festival! She is amazing! And very reasonable prices! AND....she had it ready within days of me putting the order in! You all need to check her out if you need something made! She is the Absolute BEST!!!! So....put this on your calendar and come on out and join us for a fun day and evening of Christian Fellowship together! And did I mention....it is ALL FREE!

Hey guys! I want to remind you of some of the upcoming AWANA theme nights.
Tonight is Blessing Box Night. Bring an item to put in our blessing box outside. A non perishable food item that opens easily would be a great item.
Next Wednesday, September 23rd, there will be no AWANA'S. We will meet at the Ellenboro Fair Grounds at 6:00 to eat and hand out flyers to witness to others. Holly is making us some flyers to hand out. It is also Family Night if you want to purchase an arm band to ride rides. Every child will need an adult. Each adult is responsible for their own child/ children that night.
September 30th is Bring a Friend Night. You get extra points if you bring a new friend to AWANA'S.
Oct. 7th is Camo Night.
Oct. 14th is Western Night. We will have a campfire.
Oct. 21st is Favorite Sports Team Night. Wear your favorite team attire/colors.
Oct 28th is Super Hero Night. Dress up like your favorite super hero.
Our Fall Festival will be October 31st. 3:00-5:00 will be the Fall Festival. We will have a train....even adults can ride on it. We will have a petting zoo. We will have an inflatable. We will have painting pumpkins, crafts, face painting,cake walk, and more. We are working on a bubble gum drop, balloon artist, pony rides, etc. Haven't got the last few for certain...but we are working on it. We will have hot dog supper from 4:30-5:30. Trunk or Treat will be from 5:45- until we run out of candy. We want this to be huge for our kids and as an outreach to others. We need you to help, help promote it, bring everyone you know, and hand out the special flyers that Holly is also making! What an amazing opportunity this could be to reach out to families! I pray we all do our best to help with this amazing opportunity to reach others! Let's all pray for great weather! We are also having a banner made to put out in front of the church to advertise. Other churches will be having theirs too. Let's all come together as a church family and do our best for this opportunity to show others the love of Jesus and the love our Crestview family has for each other and others! I am so excited! I hope you are too!!! Please let me know if you would like to help that day. We also need everyone who can to participate in tbe trunk or treat....even if you don't have small children. We need you! Come join us this coming Saturday at 2:00 for our children's Easter Celebration! We will first have the Resurrection story told with Resurrection Eggs. Then we will have some delicious snacks while the adults hide the Easter Eggs. We will then have our Easter Egg hunt. The eggs are filled with Christian related prizes! After our egg hunt, we will have inflatables, crafts, face painting, and other activities for you to enjoy! Invite your friends and come on out and join us from 2:00-4:00 on Saturday, April 5th! See you all there! Everything is free and everyone is welcome to join us!

Just a reminder that today is the deadline to turn in your $28.00 and signed waiver form for Pigeon Forge Snow Tubing church wide trip. If we have everyone turn in their money and forms today, then we can still get the group discount. If we do not have everyone's money and form turned in by Wednesday, then we will be unable to offer the group discount rate. Let me know if you are going and if you are planning on getting your money and signed waiver form to me by Wednesday. To print off the form, you just go to their web site, sign the waiver form, and print it off and give to me. They want them all sent in together with our group. Thank you all! Have a great Sunday!

Crestview family we need to help Sheryl Ash and our Fellowship Committee next Sunday night and bring some finger foods for after the Children and Youth's Christmas Program! So, please plan to bring your favorite finger food or dessert! Thank you all so much for your support of our children and youth! We love our church family!

Remember to print off your email confirmations after you sign the waiver for snow tubing. I have to have those turned in to me on Saturday morning. I have to turn them all in at one time once I we get there in order to get our wristbands. So, sign those waivers, print off those confirmation emails, and don't forget to bring money for lunch, supper and snacks! See you Saturday morning at 8:30. Thank you Holly for turning in our money and getting everything ready for us to go!

Dwayne would like for the Crestview Kids to meet in the church at 6:00. They will also have a part in the adult Christmas Cantata. Since they won't have to be downstairs for Crestview Kids Zone until 6:30 tonight, we thought this would be a good time for them to practice with the adults tonight. We will have a regular lesson tonight. We may go over the Children's Christmas Play if we have enough time tonight. We won't be giving out the parts until next week. See you tonight in the sanctuary at 6:00.

This coming Wednesday will be Neon Night at AWANA's. Wear your neon colors. On Wednesday, September 21st, Crestview Kids will meet at the church at 5:00 and we will then go to the Ellenboro Fair to hand out flyers, witness, eat, and ride some rides. We will be providing tickets for your child to ride the rides. They will need money to eat at the concession stand. If your child needs help with money for food, just let me know and we will take care of it. I just need to know ahead of time so I know how much money to bring. You can private message me on here and let me know. We will return to the church at 8:30. So, this will be a little different than most Wednesday nights. We will be leaving early....between 5:00-5:15 and will be returning later....around 8:30. I am looking forward to having fun with our kids and also giving them an opportunity to share Jesus with others! Wednesday, September 28th, will be Flashlight Night at AWANA's! Shine your light for Jesus! October 5th will be King/Queens of the Bible night. Dress up like your favorite king/queen of the Bible. October 12th will be Potato Pet Night at Awana's. Dress up your potato any way that you would like to. We usually have some really creative Potato Pets! October 19th will be Wear your favorite Camo night! October 26th will be Campfire Night at AWANA's. Dress up in your flannel shirts and blue jeans and come enjoy at night around the campfire! Saturday, October 29th, will be our Fall Festival! It will begin at 3:00 with fun and games and at 5:00 we will have a light supper. At 6:00 we will set up for our Trunk or Treat in the parking lot! You can decorate your cars and bring treats to hand out to the children for some Christian, family fun! We prefer not to have anything scary so we don't scare the little ones. Invite your family and friends to come join the fun! Remember that Christmas Play practice will begin on September 25th at 6:00 in the fellowship hall. We will be listening to the play and deciding on parts for the children that night. We have some fun and exciting things coming up for our children! I am looking forward to another year of sharing Jesus and His love with our children! Our Christmas Play will be on the night of December 18th.
