On Sunday, December 21, 2025, we will have our Candlelight Service. The young children will carry in Baby Jesus and place him in the manger as the congregation sings "O Come All Ye Faithful." The lights are low and it is a beautiful service as Rev. Kurtz reads Bible passages telling about the birth of Jesus. We printed up booklets that have the scripture and the accompanying hymn, such as "Away in a Manger". We light our candles and then sing "Silent Night" and our service ends with "Joy to the World." We hope you can join us!

Join us as we celebrate World Wide Communion and the 100th birthday of our church on 5 October 2025. Worship begins at 10:00 AM. We picked this date because of World Wide Communion, summer and vacations were over, the heat was behind us and fall was in the air. Turns out, the cornerstone for our church was placed on 4 October 2025! The Lord sure works in mysterious ways! The church was built on a lot donated by a member of the congregation. The early members were Slovak immigrants who came to America with their dreams, faith and Bibles. They originally met in a Sunday School of the Methodist Church in Perth Amboy. Eventually they wanted a place of worship closer to home and parishioners donated their time, money, and skills to build the church. Originally the services were in Slovak but changed to English for the younger generation. Their faith and hard work paid off since our little church is still around. Most of our congregation are related to each other and the original members of the church. Members are quietly involved in our community through their careers and volunteer service.
