Church family reminder that we are collecting all types of gently used cold weather clothing (gloves, coats, blankets, etc.) from now until early November for those in SW Missouri who are unsheltered this winter. Simply bring them with you to church and we'll see you Sunday morning!

This month, I've found myself grateful.

As I reflect on our eleven years at West Finley Church and we enter our twelfth year, we want to say thank you to our church family... to each and every one of you.

Thank you for pursuing God with us, as imperfect as we are (especially me). Thank you for allowing us to be real people and accepting us as a family, flaws and all.

When we began, Colton was little and pastoring a church was not on our radar, by a long shot. Fast forward well over a decade and he is grown and we've been blessed to add another Dixon to our family. Around every corner, each of you has been part of our lives, as a church family is intended to be.

You've prayed for us, laughed and cried with us, and seen us through joy and sorrow. You are supportive, loving and welcoming, as church is intended to be. We've been blessed to serve with you and be part of your families as your children are born... and your loved ones pass.

I could go on for an hour, but that still wouldn't capture the love, gratitude and friendship we have for each of you and your families. If you're reading this post as part of our church family, I'm speaking directly to you: we love you and are grateful we're part of each other's lives. ❤️

Thank you for serving along side us. We can't wait to see what God has in store for West Finley in the years ahead. We love and appreciate each of you, so much.

We got to celebrate our children, youth and teachers today as they prepare to head back to school in a few weeks. Praying that the year ahead is safe, fun, and full of joy! 📚❤️

Our third annual Women's Retreat last week was such a blessing! We spent time in prayer, worship, fellowship, and renewal. We're grateful to everyone who could join us and who worked so hard to make our time together so meaningful. God showed up in such incredible ways! ❤️
