✨📢 WE’RE HIRING✨📢 Appleby Manor Presbyterian Church in Ford City is accepting applications for a part-time secretary position.

General duty is to provide administrative and secretarial services to the pastor, other staff members, committee chairs, and clerk of session. Specific responsibilities include, but not limited to maintaining church files, processing and printing church bulletins and newsletter, maintain church calendar including the gym, collecting and distributing church mail, maintain church supplies.

We desire a start date of April 28. The position is 9 hours per week, M-W-F 10-1 is desirable but is flexible. Additional hours included as needed. The pay is $12 per hour. Please provide resume to the church office at 810 Main St., Ford City by March 31st.

Today, our Thankful Thursday spotlight is on Appleby Manor Memorial Presbyterian Church in Ford City, PA.

With hearts full of kindness, Appleby’s Sunday school class set a goal to collect enough coins to give a piglet through the Giving Catalog. Thanks to their hard work, some very cute piggy banks and the support and generosity from the entire congregation, these compassionate kids ended up raising enough to give not one, not two – but THREE piglets!

Piglets can provide struggling families with a sustainable source of nutrition and income, creating a lasting impact. Just goes to show us that even the smallest hands can make a BIG difference.
