You may have heard people refer to a church congregation as “the body of Christ.” This is because the bible explains us eac

h as individual members of one whole body. In 1 Corinthians 12:12, the Apostle Paul says, “For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, as it is with Christ.” In the world today, there is a lot of emphasis on people living their own destinies and achieving their own desires. When each person is trying to accomplish a different goal, it can lead to chaos. Everyone seems to be running in a different direction. This is why being a part of a church family is so special. Even though we each have unique talents, abilities, and gifts, we come together with the same goal: to serve and worship God! We are running this race of life together in unison towards the same finish line. We believe that when people can look at the House of God and see a group of people who are united and loving towards one another, it is a great testimony of what Christ has to offer. So let’s celebrate today that we are in the House of God together, and that we can worship freely! There is no place like God’s House! We are so grateful to everyone who supported our Church Rummage Sale, Bake Sale, Basket & Quilt Raffle, and Root Beer Float Sale! Because of your generosity, time, and support, our event was a wonderful success.

A special thank you to the Burk family and the Recupero family for their generous donations and support—it truly means so much to our church.

We would also like to thank our entire church family who donated items, baked delicious treats, and gave their time and energy to help make this event possible. Your hard work and dedication made all the difference!

And to everyone who came out to shop, eat, and support us—thank you for being such an important part of our community.
