The Huria Kristen Batak Protestan (HKBP), which translates into the Batak Christian Protestant Church, is the largest Protestant denomination in Indonesia. Claimed by God’s grace for the sake of the world, we are a new creation through God’s living word by the power of the Holy Spirit. Gathered by God’s grace for the sake of the world, we will live among God’s faithful people, hear God’s word and share Christ’s supper. Sent by God’s grace for the sake of the world, we will proclaim the good news of God in Christ through word and deed, serve all people following the example of our Lord Jesus, and strive for justice and peace in all the world. HKBP Indonesian Lutheran Church is a religious based organization, whose tax-exempt status was approved by the Internal Revenue Service, and was not organized for private gains to benefit any individuals or other entities. It was organized under the Non-Profit Religious entity Laws exclusively for religious purposes and missions. We hope to reach every individual through prayer and the word of God. HKBP Indonesian Lutheran Church was granted its tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Tax Code by the Internal Revenue Service, a division of the United States Treasury. HKBP Indonesian Lutheran Church is eligible to receive tax-deductible charitable contributions from the public, and donors can deduct their contributions to HKBP Indonesian Lutheran Church for Federal and State income tax purposes. We are also eligible to receive tax-deductible bequest, devises, transfers or gifts. Please let us know how we can help with your contributions and support.
