BETTER MARRIAGE WORKSHOPS - Starting THIS Weekend
Nov. 7- Pastor Nico Mendez: “Resiliency in Marriage”
Resiliency in Marriage is about learning how to bounce back stronger and better equipped for a healthy marriage.
Resiliency brings about a picture of bouncing back, things getting better. Like baseball fans, we know that it is not possible for our team to win the World Series every year and even when they blow it in game 7 at home, we all grumble, second-guess, blame, and criticize from October to the first day of spring training when we begin to think, “Maybe this year…” In Marriage, we too can always bounce back if we live in faith and hope.
Nov. 14- Pastor Chuck & Barb Belk: “The CORE of a Good Marriage”
This workshop will assist couples in building (or rebuilding) a solid CORE to their relationship. The principles of Cooperation-Ownership-Respect-Empathy will be discussed along with practical applications to help put into practice what is learned. A solid CORE can help us to stay in alignment with God’s design and purpose for our marriages!
Nov. 21- Kris Anderson (LMFT): “Parenting Challenges- Blended Families”
This workshop will address some of the challenges we all face as parents, with an emphasis on some of the issues unique to blended families. Having a strong marriage is the foundation to raising children to be responsible adults and navigating through the challenges of raising families, especially blended families. This is an opportunity to listen to a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and ask questions about the issues that commonly occur in ALL families, so ALL parents are encouraged to attend.
All workshops will be done online from 5:00p to 6:30p and be accessible with the following Zoom link: https://zoom.us/j/96369213036
