Urgent Prayer Request
Solicitud Urgente de Oración

Praise the Lord!

We ask for your urgent prayers in the name of Jesus Christ:

For divine healing for our brother Elder Adán González, who also serves as pastor of the Second Apostolic Assembly in Socorro, Texas. He is experiencing various complications from diabetes. The West Texas District asks for fervent prayers for his health.

For divine healing for our sister Olga González, wife of Pastor Adán González of Socorro, Texas, who was recently diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy. Bishop Jorge Marioni also asks for intercession from our churches for spiritual strength for the González family and their congregation.

For divine healing for our brother, National Evangelist Jesse Martinez, who suffered a stroke last Sunday. Bishop Mario Alas asks for the prayers of our churches for his complete recovery.

Por sanidad divina para nuestro hermano Anciano Adán González, quien también sirve como pastor de la Segunda Asamblea Apostólica en Socorro, Texas. El está experimentando diferentes complicaciones por diabetes. El Distrito Oeste de Texas pide oraciones fervientes por su salud.

Por sanidad divina para nuestra hermana Olga González, esposa del Pastor Adán González de Socorro, Texas, quien recientemente recibió un diagnostico de cancer y está en tratamiento de quimioterapia. El Obispo Jorge Marioni también pide intercesión de nuestras iglesias por fortaleza espiritual para la familia González y su congregación.

Y por sanidad divina para nuestro hermano Evangelista Nacional Jesse Martinez, quien experimentó un derrame cerebral el domingo pasado. El Obispo Mario Alas pide las oraciones de nuestras iglesias por su completa recuperación.

Volunteer Opportunity: Colombia Medical Brigade – Jan 2027

The Department of Social Assistance is preparing for an incredible opportunity to serve through Christian Brigades — and we would love for you to be part of it.

We are currently seeking compassionate volunteers to join our upcoming Medical Brigade in Medellín, Colombia. Whether you are a healthcare professional, a student pursuing a medical or health-related career, or simply an Apostolic with a heart to serve and share the Gospel, there is a place for you on this mission.

Volunteer opportunities include:

Medical patient care
Mental health counseling
Children’s education
Optometry
Pharmaceutical support
Health education
Media team support
Worship leadership

During the brigade, volunteers will spend four days serving in medical clinics and participating in evening outdoor Friend’s Day community services. The week concludes with a time to debrief, reflect, and enjoy fellowship before returning home.

El Departamento de Asistencia Social se está preparando en oración para una increíble oportunidad de servir a través de Christian Brigades — y nos encantaría que fueras parte de ello.

Actualmente estamos buscando voluntarios compasivos para unirse a nuestra próxima Brigada Médica en Medellín, Colombia. Ya seas un profesional de la salud, un estudiante que está cursando una carrera relacionada con el área médica o de salud, o simplemente un Apostólico con el deseo de servir y compartir el Evangelio, hay un lugar para ti en esta misión.

Las oportunidades de voluntariado incluyen:

Atención médica a pacientes
Consejería de salud mental
Educación para niños
Optometría
Apoyo farmacéutico
Educación en salud
Apoyo en el área de fotografía y video

Arky the Ant and His Global Mission of God's Love!

Ready, Set, Explore! Living God’s Word Is Our Mission

We are so excited to continue the work laid out in D.I.G.S. - Diligently Investigating God’s Sources - our First National Apostolic VBS booklet that helped parents and educators build a biblical foundation and arelationship with Jesus Christ through the Bible adventures of Arky the Ant!

Inspired by the same heart and vision that created D.I.G.S., we present the next phase of Arky the Ant in Ready! Set! Explore! A sequel to the adventures of Arky that follows his quest towards global missions, biblical obedience, and sharing God’s love with the world. Guided by Arky the Ant, our faithful explorers will travel with Arky through Scripture, collecting artifacts of knowledge along the way. Children of all ages will be able to see themselves as faithful explorers who discover truth, walk in love,
and carry God’s message to all.

We would like to honor Cynthia Guzman, our VBS Director, for her vision and her creation of Arky the Ant, who loves to dig deep into God’s Word. This reflects Cynthia’s calling: to make God’s Word accessible, engaging, and life-changing for young minds and growing families.

Apostolic VBS continues to focus on biblical education, the preservation of God’s Word through engaging and age-appropriate teaching, and the application of scripture into the daily lives of our future generations.

We are asking to keep Minister David Banda and Pastor Juan Alvarez in your prayers. Please pray for God’s healing hand to touch their bodies, strengthen them, and grant them complete restoration according to His perfect will. We pray over their wives and families that the Lord may give them peace and strength as well.

“The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.” -Psalm 41:3

The 2026 General Secretary Workshop, “Consecrated to the Care of the Assembly’s Mission,” was once again a great success.

Over 40 District & Regional Secretaries, Bishops, Elders & Administrators attended the two-day workshop, “Training on Artificial Intelligence for District Secretaries’ Duties”, which provided valuable insights and practical tools.

Over the two days, participants received training on key areas of church operations, including real estate matters, records management, and the effective use of emerging technologies. The workshop was designed to strengthen administrative excellence while embracing innovation in service to the mission of the Assembly.
