Church History

In December 1994 Evangelist Janice Brown was in prayer seeking direction from God for her life for the upcoming year. God made a cry that he wanted Evangelist Brown to move up a little higher and she answered the call to pastorialship. First Faith was born on January 1, 1995 in the living room of Pastor Janice Brown’s home in the city of San Bernardino; CA. Present was Mother Doro

thy Smith, Deacon Edward Gray, Smith, and Bro. Kevin Smith who has gone home to be with the Lord, Mother Earnease Miller, Sis Barbara Miller-Brown, Sis Gwendolyn Brown and Deacon Maurice Bonds. (Rev Roy Miller and Mother Juanita Day-Gray joined under watch care) First Faith began holding bible study classes in the senior citizen home and 2 months later Lord gave First Faith favor with the Pastor of First American Church where we held services twice a week. Pastor along with the Board of Trustee began seeking God for a new location and in August of 1995 the Lord increased First Faith’s territory, blessing us with 2 acres of land, a church, and a home. As First Faith were have experienced our first heart aches and our first pains. We have seen our first of many rotations of members coming, going and coming back again. Nevertheless, the Lord kept his hands upon this ministry and elevated us to “The King’s House.” For in The Kings House there is deliverance, Healing, Love and His pure unadulterated gospel. We ask the Lord to “create in us a clean heart and renew the right spirit within us” as David did (Psalm 51:10) that we may continue to grow in Christ Jesus. Realizing as Peter did in Matthew 16:18 that “on this rock [Jesus] has built this church and very gates of Hell SHALL NOT PREVAIL against us. We rejoice in our NEW HEART, which is blood that washes us clean daily, the NEW SPIRIT which is the Holy Ghost our heavenly mediator, and the NEW CHURCH that is within each and every one of us. With God renewing our heart and giving us the right spirits, we can obtain the keys to the Kingdom through Christ Jesus letting nothing and no one prevail against us. SO LET US CELEBRATE BECAUSE HE IS KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS HERE IN THE KING’S HOUSE!!!!

Today was powerful. 🤍
So many lives changed, so many hearts renewed, and so many people publicly declaring their faith. Thank you to every single person who came out, supported, served, prayed, worshipped, and took the step to be baptized today.

Heaven rejoices over every soul, and today was a beautiful reminder that God is still moving in powerful ways.

To everyone who got baptized this is not the end of your journey, it’s the beginning of a new chapter. We are so proud of you.
