These flowers may seem simple to some people, but to me they mean so much more than flowers. 🌷🌸❤️

One daughter picked tulips from the yard with her own hands because she wanted me to have flowers for Mother’s Day. Another thoughtfully chose budding carnations because she knew they would continue to bloom and last longer for me.

And honestly… that kind of love cannot be bought.

The smallest sentimental gestures are often the ones that touch the heart the deepest because they come from pure thoughtfulness, intention, and love. These flowers weren’t about money or perfection — they were about daughters wanting their mom to feel special, appreciated, and loved.

Tonight my heart feels incredibly full. 💖

Sometimes the most beautiful things in life are the simple moments:
a hand-picked flower,
a thoughtful gesture,
family gathered together,
laughter around a BBQ,
and feeling genuinely loved by the people who matter most.

I will remember these flowers for a very long time. 🌷❤️

🌸🦁 Happy Mother’s Day from Roar & Rise Cub Courage 🦁🌸

Today we celebrate all the mamas, grandmas, aunties, and caregivers who help little cubs feel safe, loved, brave, and strong. 💖

A mama’s love is one of God’s sweetest gifts.
It’s the hugs after hard days…
The kisses on little foreheads…
The bedtime prayers…
The gentle reminders to keep going…
And the fierce protection that makes little hearts feel safe in this big world.

To every mommy raising little cubs with love, patience, and courage — you are doing holy work, even on the messy days. 🌷

And to every little cub reading this:
Never forget how special your mama is. Her love helps shape your roar. 🦁✨

“Her children rise up and call her blessed.” — Proverbs 31:28 💕

Today we celebrate the women who nurture hearts, dry tears, teach kindness, and remind us that love is the strongest roar of all. 🌸💖

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mamas and mother figures today! 🌷🩷✨

💛 A Word for the Busy Parent

If you are a parent who goes to bed some nights feeling like you didn’t give your children enough time… this is for you.

Maybe the day moved too fast.
Work ran late.
Dinner was rushed.
The house was noisy.
And you wonder quietly in your heart:

“Am I doing enough for them?”

But here is a gentle truth God often shows us about children.

Children do not measure love the way adults measure time.

They do not keep score of hours.

They remember moments.

The small ones.

The everyday ones.

The moments where love shows up quietly.

The quick hug before school.
The “I love you” before bed.
The prayer whispered over them.
The laugh in the kitchen.
The way you check on them before you turn the lights out.

Those tiny moments feel enormous to a child.

Because to them, consistency feels like safety.

And safety feels like love.

God did not design parenting to be perfect.

He designed it to be faithful.

The Bible reminds us:

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
— Book of Proverbs 22:6

Training a child rarely happens in grand, cinematic moments.

It happens in daily faithfulness.

It happens when they see you pray.
When they hear you speak kindly.
When they watch how you handle hard days.

It happens in the rhythm of your life.

And parents often miss this truth:

Children are not looking for perfect parents.

They are looking for present hearts.

Even if the moments are small.

Even if the day was busy.

Even if the time together was only a few minutes.

If those minutes were filled with love, warmth, prayer, and consistency…

Your child felt it.

And those small deposits of love build something powerful over time.

Just like God meets us daily — not always in grand miracles, but in quiet faithfulness — your children experience your love the same way.

So if tonight you feel like you could have done more…

Let this settle your heart:

The bedtime prayer mattered.
The hug mattered.
The way you showed up again today mattered.

Your children are not only growing in your home.

They are growing inside the atmosphere of your love.

And that kind of love — steady, faithful, and rooted in God — builds memories that last a lifetime.

You may not always see it today.

But one day they will remember:

“My parent showed up for me. Every day.”

And that kind of faithfulness is one of the greatest gifts a child can receive. ✨

Short Story:

Rosie & The Windy Hill

The wind was strong on the hill.

Tika loved it.

Courage raced through it.

But Rosie stood still.

“What if I fall?” she asked.

Daddy Zion smiled.

“Then you’ll stand again.”

Rosie took one step.

Then another.

And suddenly…

The wind didn’t feel so scary.

Parent Encouragement

Parent Reminder

If your child asks a lot of questions…
If they notice things others miss…
If they feel deeply…

That is not a flaw.

Those are the roots of wisdom.

Sensitive children often grow into the most compassionate leaders.

Protect their softness.
It becomes strength later.

Cub Courage Moment

Cub Courage Moment

Courage stood at the edge of the stream.

The water moved fast.

His paws felt unsure.

Rosie looked at him and whispered,
“I’ll stay with you.”

Sometimes courage grows when someone stands beside you. 🐾

“I Am Safe To Feel”

🐾 For Kids

🦁 I can feel happy.
🦁 I can feel sad.

🦁 My feelings are not bad.
🦁 I am safe to feel.

💛 For Parents

Children don’t need fewer feelings.

They need safer spaces.

When we tell a child to “calm down” without helping them regulate, we unintentionally teach them that big emotions are inconvenient.

But emotions are information.

Anger can signal injustice.
Sadness can signal loss.
Fear can signal uncertainty.
Excitement can signal expansion.

Your child’s emotional intensity is not misbehavior by default.

It’s communication.

When you sit with them instead of silencing them, you are wiring emotional resilience into their brain.

You are teaching:

“Feelings are survivable.”

And that lesson will follow them into adulthood.

“Daddy Zion’s Night Talk”

That evening, all the cubs were tired.

Mud still between toes.

Energy finally quiet.

Daddy Zion gathered them close.

“You all showed courage today,” he said.

Courage tried something new.

Rosie noticed someone hurting.

Benny tried again after falling.

Tika breathed through fear.

Pip honored his own pace.

“Courage,” Daddy Zion said softly,
“isn’t one thing.”

“It’s many small brave moments.”

The cubs leaned against him.

Safe.

Warm.

Held.

And as they drifted to sleep,
they knew something deep:

They didn’t have to roar to matter.

They were already enough.
