Autumn🍁

Leaves falling, skies greying, summer departing

It’s a reminder that life has moments of sunshine and rain, dying and rebirth, joy and sorrow

We’ll be taking a look at various characters in the Bible—Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Esther, Job, Caleb, and Ruth—to see how God molds us through the surrender and letting go of our fears and desires and deformations. And in that molding, we become closer to Him and more formed into the people we are intended to be.

Chris and Kathy Jarvinen were looking for a local church that their kids could grow up in and a place where they could build community.

It started with a recommendation of a friend that they landed at Oak Hills Church.

The Sunday they came to OHC there was a new youth pastor ….David Holcomb. Chris says that OHC was an answer to their prayers and the rest is history.

This week listen as Chris and Kathy share some wise words from James 4:4-12
