Providence Ladies group has a quarterly fellowship called Talents and Tales. Each quarter one of our members hosts the meeting. The hostess for the meeting shares one of her talents/hobbies with our group and also a story/testimony from her life. The hostess for this quarter was Jennifer Breland Gray. Jennifer shared about outreach and how that is important. She shared how a handwritten card/letter can be a great tool for outreach. The ladies then made cards to mail to others . It was an evening of great fellowship, food and tons of laughs.

On July 18th a few of our ladies attended a Women's Conference at FBC Thibodaux. FBC Thibodaux has been a great encouragement to our church family. Every year they invite us to join them at their retreats.We are so thankful that God has used this sweet congregation to minister to our church family. We look forward to more fellowship opportunities between both congregations!

Our students spent the weekend studying apologetics - defending the faith. We are so thankful for the adults who invested in them this weekend.

But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled, 15 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:14–15, ESV)
