Bro. Oliver Broc brought a powerful message on how God holds us in His hand.

Nothing and nobody can take us out.

That truth ought to settle every fear we carry. We are safe in the grip of God and He never lets go.

If you need to be reminded today just how secure you are in the Lord, take a moment and listen.

"And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand." John 10:28-29

Thank God for that kind of security.

What a wonderful morning at Open Door Baptist Church!
Thank God, we had a precious soul follow the Lord in baptism today.

Our whole church family got to witness that decision and we were rejoicing together!

It is always a joy to see somebody obey the Lord and take that next step of faith.

God is doing amazing things here at Open Door and the best is yet to come!

There's no place like the house of God!

When our church family gets together to sing and hear the Word preached, it feels like a little bit of Heaven right here on earth.

"I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD." (Psalm 122:1)

So thankful for our people and for Open Door Baptist Church!

SERVICE CANCELED TONIGHT

After service this morning we had a plumbing emergency that flooded one of the bathrooms and a hallway. We are without water in the building right now, so we will be canceling church tonight until the plumber gets it fixed.

So grateful for our people. Our church family jumped right in and started cleaning up and taking care of things. No one had to be asked. They just went to work.

Thank God for people who have a mind to work and who care about the house of God.

We love our church family. Grateful for every one of them.

There is real rest in knowing your salvation is held by the Lord himself.

So many of God's people carry a weight they were never meant to carry, always wondering if they have done enough to hold on.

That striving will wear you out.

Take a few minutes and listen to this truth about who is really doing the keeping.

"For I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day." (2 Timothy 1:12)

Praise God for a salvation we could never earn and can never lose.

Color war at Patch Club last night was a ton of fun!

Our kids came ready to compete and had a blast.

Thankful God gave us people who show up and make nights like that happen for our children.

What a wonderful morning celebrating Mrs. Brenda Weaver! The ladies had such a great time together honoring a woman who means so much to our church family.

Mrs. Brenda faithfully serves week after week, caring for our church members, leading the junior church and nurseries, and investing her heart into so many people behind the scenes. Her love for the Lord and for others is seen in everything she does.

We are so thankful for her faithful spirit, servant’s heart, and the incredible role she plays at Open Door Baptist Church. Today was just a small way to show how much she is loved and appreciated.

Happy Birthday, Mrs. Brenda! We love our pastor’s wife so much, and we are grateful for all that you do! ❤️

Today we remember the men and women who gave everything so that we could live in freedom.

We are grateful for every one of them and for the families who bore that cost alongside them.

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13

Thank God for those who paid that price. May we never take it for granted.
