Thankfully, God has given us some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. Our folks love people from the moment they walk through the door.

There is real joy in our services. You can hear it in the singing and see it on the faces of our people.

Our Autumn Harvest Festival is almost here!

Saturday, September 26, from 10 AM to 1 PM at Open Door Baptist Church. Everything is free and everybody is invited.

We will have a 45 foot inflatable obstacle course, a giant slide, a foam zone for the kids, a toddler play area, ceramic pumpkin painting, a family photo booth, and co****le. 3-D Eats & Tea Pensacola and Kona Icewill both be on site selling food.

Bruce Frye will be playing live in our auditorium at noon.

At 12:45 we are giving away a Blackstone griddle, along with amazing prizes donated by The Track Gulf Shores,Alabama, The Factory Gulf Shores, Mythic Beach Banana Bar, Coastlands Coffee, and Jurassic Golf Gulf Shores. We are grateful for every one of them. You have to be present to win.

**Patch the Pirate Club is officially underway!**

Last night, we began an exciting adventure through time in the Bible. Our Patch Club kids are discovering that Jesus isn’t just part of the New Testament—He is at the center of God’s story from before the world began.

Throughout this year, we’ll continue time traveling through the Bible, seeing Jesus throughout history and even looking ahead at what the Bible tells us about the future.

**Patch the Pirate Club is FREE and open to children in 1st–6th grade!**

Each week, kids will learn truths from God’s Word, memorize Scripture, sing Christ-centered songs, and learn how to grow in a daily relationship with God—all while having a great time together.

We’d love for your child to join us!

**To get started, simply come to Open Door Baptist Church on Wednesday at 7:00 PM.** New kids are welcome to jump in anytime, so there’s no need to wait for a new session to begin.

The devil is not God's equal.

God is all powerful. God is all knowing. God is all present. The devil is none of those things. He is a created being, and he is already a defeated one.

There is no contest between them. He cannot compete with God, and he will never win against God.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4)

We serve a God who has never once been in danger of losing.

Church ought to be the happiest place we go all week.

The sky can be dark and the rain can be pouring, and it makes no difference once we get inside the House of God. Our people walk in glad to be there.

I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD. (Psalm 122:1)

Thankfully, God gives us a joy the weather cannot touch. We have so much to be happy about here at Open Door.

God has been so good and the best is yet to come!

Wednesday night is prayer meeting at Open Door Baptist Church.

We are a praying church. Every week our church family comes together and calls on God, and week after week we get to watch Him answer. Thankfully, we serve a God who hears His people.

"Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." Jeremiah 33:3

If you have a burden you are carrying, bring it with you. We would love to pray with you.

We are excited to see what God is going to do!

You can pray!

Doesn't matter if you're 90 years old and can't do what you used to do. Doesn't matter if your body has slowed down and your world has gotten smaller. If you're still here, you are not useless.

You can pray, and prayer moves the hand that moves the universe.

What a wonderful morning at Open Door Baptist Church!

Thankfully, we have such good people here. There are times when every one of us needs somebody to lean on, and God has given us each other for that very thing.

"Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do." 1 Thessalonians 5:11

We love our church family and we are grateful for every one of them.

🚨Deputies with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office responded alongside the Foley Police Department, Foley Fire Department, and MedStar to a medical call in the parking lot of Open Door Baptist Church. One male was airlifted to an area hospital for medical treatment.

There is no danger to the public, and this incident is not related to Open Door Baptist Church or any church activities.

We are aware of inaccurate information and rumors currently circulating on social media. We encourage the public to rely on information released through official local law enforcement channels rather than unverified social media posts.

The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office is committed to providing accurate and responsible information to the public. At this time, no further information regarding this incident will be released.

This morning, a medical emergency occurred involving an individual in a vehicle outside Open Door Baptist Church.

We want to assure our community that this incident was completely unrelated to Open Door Baptist Church, its pastor, or its staff.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the individual’s family and all those affected. We are also grateful for the law enforcement officers and first responders who responded to the situation.

Out of respect for everyone involved, we ask that our community please respect their privacy and refrain from speculation.
