🌎 MEET MITCH & TAMMY WOLLNER 🇮🇩
What does it take to reach people who have never heard the Good News?
Sometimes, it starts by preparing someone to go.
For years, Mitch and Tammy Wollner have served in many different ways—as pastors, church planters, teachers, trainers, and dorm parents. Today, their ministry is helping build a culture of missions and reach people who have yet to hear the Gospel.
For the past six years, Mitch has worked closely with Indonesia's national leadership to help develop a missions sending movement focused on the country's 200+ unreached people groups.
He trains pastors, recruits and prepares potential cross-cultural workers, and helps equip people to go into communities where the Good News has never been heard.
Right now, they are focused on reaching more than 10 unreached people groups.
But the Wollners' ministry doesn't stop there.
Tammy founded a learning center in partnership with a local church and Compassion International to help meet the educational needs of children in a vulnerable community affected by the pandemic.
She also founded New Beginnings, a safehouse and empowerment program partnering with Project Rescue to provide support and a new beginning for survivors of s*x trafficking.
This is what missions looks like.
It’s preparing people to go.
It’s reaching those who have never heard.
It’s investing in the next generation.
It’s bringing hope where hope is desperately needed.
And through Passport to the Nations, we have the opportunity to be part of stories like this.
