Some places look too far gone.
Too broken.
Too bound.
Too complicated.
Too much history.
But Jesus has never been intimidated by the places everyone else has given up on.
In Mark 5, Jesus crossed the lake and walked straight toward a man everyone else had learned to avoid. His life had been overtaken, his identity buried beneath his bo***ge, and his situation looked hopeless.
Then Jesus stepped in.
What had power over that man had no power over Jesus.
And the same Jesus is still setting people free today.
Freedom may require surrender. It may cost you comfort. It may mean refusing to tolerate things you’ve allowed to take territory for far too long.
But freedom is worth the cost.
Because Jesus doesn’t just want to pull you out of the battle—He wants to redeem the story.
The man who once lived among the tombs eventually went home with a testimony:
“Tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” — Mark 5:19
Your struggle doesn’t have to be the end of your story.
Jesus can turn your battle into your testimony.
There is unmistakable freedom in Jesus. 🙌
