Student Life 2026 | Estes Park, Colorado

Our youth group had an incredible week at Student Life Camp! Throughout the week, we were challenged to remain rooted in Christ, the true Vine, and to cultivate a deeper relationship with Him.

A special thank you to Student Life Camps and YMCA Of The Rockies for an unreal camp experience. We are grateful for the decisions made, friendships formed, and spiritual growth that took place throughout the week!

Liberty Students have made it safely to Colorado!

A special thank you to The Avenue Church in Aurora for opening their doors to our group Sunday night. What a great picture of Southern Baptist cooperation at work.

We invite you to join us this Saturday, May 30, as we honor and celebrate the life of Cory Halvorson.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM, followed by the Celebration of Life service at 12:00 PM at Liberty Baptist Church, located at 5199 Lakeland Drive, Flowood, MS 39232.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Baptist Church.

Please continue to keep the Halvorson family in your prayers during this time.

LBC students Isaac Arney and Wyatt McKenzie recently traveled to San José, Costa Rica, where they served children and residential centers alongside their senior class and families. We thank the Lord for students who are boldly sharing the Gospel and showing the love of Christ not only in our community, but to the ends of the earth!

Tonight, our featured elementary game is UNO, and our lesson focus is Deuteronomy 6:4 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.”

Our preschoolers are featuring “Let’s Go Fishin’”, with the lesson focus of Matthew 4:19 “And he said to them, ‘Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.’”
