We're excited to announce that St. Philip's parishioner Pauline Crowell is this year's recipient of the Light of Christ Award!
The Light of Christ award is presented annually to lay individuals throughout the Diocese of Fort Worth who exemplify the light of Christ through lives of Christian stewardship. Chosen by their Pastors, these honorees live out their baptismal call in an extraordinary way.
Ms. Pauline is a shining presence at St. Philip the Apostle Parish. No matter what life’s challenges bring her way, she radiates joy, gratitude, and a genuine willingness to serve. Her warm smile and kind spirit make every parishioner feel welcomed and cared for.
She is a vital member of our Hospitality and Welcome Team, faithfully helping to host monthly coffee hours, new parishioner welcome dinners, and many of our beautiful parish receptions. Her dedication, attention to detail, and gracious hospitality have made countless parish events more inviting and meaningful.
Beyond her hospitality work, Ms. Pauline is a deeply faithful Catholic. She can be found at daily Mass, sitting in the front row, praying fervently for vocations to the religious life. She regularly bakes and cooks for our parish priests, offering her time and talents with generosity and love.
Ms. Pauline is a blessing to all who meet her. Through her joyful heart, steadfast faith, and constant spirit of service, she truly embodies the Light of Christ within our parish community.
