The last two windows of our Phase I church have been installed! We are deeply grateful to the Eremia-Treadway and Yarussi families for the gift of these incredible windows to St. Philip.

Profound thanks also to the team at Foster Stained Glass for their expert restoration and artistry throughout this project!

The Nativity of St. John occupies a highly symbolic point in the course of our sun. At this time, the days are at their longest, but from now on, daylight hours will start to dwindle and the sun will seem to "decrease" until, about six months from now, we reach the shortest days of the year at - you guessed it - Christmas! This reminds us of the prophetic words of St. John the Baptist, "He must increase, I must decrease." As the forerunner of the Messiah, St. John's task is to prepare the way for Christ, Who is the true Light of the world!

Join us for Mass for the Solemnity of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist at 6:30 pm tonight!

Celebrate America's 250th with St. Philip's! Between 11 am - 2 pm on July 4th, we'll have games and water fun on the Parish Grounds (so be sure to wear something that can get wet). Pack a picnic or enjoy hot dogs and hamburgers from the Knights of Columbus Food Truck!

When we think of "great Catholic trilogies," we probably think first of The Lord of the Rings. But there's a little-known trilogy from Norwegian author Sigrid Undset that's the OTHER great Catholic trilogy, and it is well worth your time, St. Philip's. Watch our video to learn more.

We're excited to announce that St. Philip's parishioner Pauline Crowell is this year's recipient of the Light of Christ Award!

The Light of Christ award is presented annually to lay individuals throughout the Diocese of Fort Worth who exemplify the light of Christ through lives of Christian stewardship. Chosen by their Pastors, these honorees live out their baptismal call in an extraordinary way.

Ms. Pauline is a shining presence at St. Philip the Apostle Parish. No matter what life’s challenges bring her way, she radiates joy, gratitude, and a genuine willingness to serve. Her warm smile and kind spirit make every parishioner feel welcomed and cared for.

She is a vital member of our Hospitality and Welcome Team, faithfully helping to host monthly coffee hours, new parishioner welcome dinners, and many of our beautiful parish receptions. Her dedication, attention to detail, and gracious hospitality have made countless parish events more inviting and meaningful.

Beyond her hospitality work, Ms. Pauline is a deeply faithful Catholic. She can be found at daily Mass, sitting in the front row, praying fervently for vocations to the religious life. She regularly bakes and cooks for our parish priests, offering her time and talents with generosity and love.

Ms. Pauline is a blessing to all who meet her. Through her joyful heart, steadfast faith, and constant spirit of service, she truly embodies the Light of Christ within our parish community.
