Here's an excellent sermon titled, "A Pastor's Prison Prayers" and covers verses 9 thru 11 of Colossians 1.

Recall Paul wrote this letter to the Colossians while imprisoned by the Romans yet he was not praying for himself and instead was praying for other Christians to gain a better understanding of the Lord.
