Our Zimbabwe team just held an outside JFYM Forum to regroup and revisit with established Eagle Leaders at Kaitano Village Church. Pray for them as they were exhorted, empowered and equipped to continue carrying the message of the gospel to the younger generation.

When Your Pastor Steps Into the Ring:
Humberto, one of our Cuban Eagle Leaders, shared a unique outreach event with us that was hosted by his church. They sponsored a boxing match, complete with a ring AND their pastor taking on an opponent! As you can imagine, there was a huge turnout! Humberto also leads a JFYM-based soccer evangelism ministry and sent us some soccer photos, too. What a way to kick off the year!

FROM SPECTATOR TO PARTICIPATOR:
Testimony of Yokobo Daniel after attending a recent JFYM Forum
“I had failed to share with other people the news of the word of God, and lacked methods on how to reach the unreached, but through the education I received in the two-day seminar, it increased the practical zeal in my life as a Christian. Now I have the ability to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others, especially our Muslim brothers and sisters who still believe that Jesus is a Messenger of God and not the Son of God. Also, the training has built me a great capacity and knowledge to create opportunities to reach my fellow youth in the streets and schools. I have been incredibly inspired through the lessons of JFYM. Now I reach my fellow youth with the gospel and have felt very happy in my heart that I am part of building the Kingdom of God."

FROM STRUGGLES TO STRATEGIES:
Seven leaders from two churches recently attended a JFYM Forum to specifically get trained in youth ministry due to struggles they were having in reaching the youth in their communities. Two of these leaders shared that the training provided them ways to reach the youth through outreach opportunities, and expressed how equipped and empowered they felt to move forward to reach them because of the training.

Amid continual blackouts, fuel shortages, and food insecurity, our team in Havana was recently able to unpack a container loaded with food through a partnership with RockPointe Church in Flower Mound, TX, and Feed The Hunger!

We invite you to pray for our leaders around the world as they train pastors, church leaders, and parents to influence the next generation to follow Jesus. Many of these events will take place despite challenges like…various levels of persecution, extreme weather conditions, and food insecurity. Pray for our leaders…that they are able to safely travel to these moments empowered by His Spirit who gives them all the discernment, grace, and love they need for the mission of which they have been called.
