For those of you who may have known him, it is with great sadness that I share that Kevin Hansen, a regular participant in Young Adult Ministry in the south suburbs, passed away this morning of Leukemia. Terry is looking into further information about arrangements. Please pray for the Hansen family and Kevin's friends, coworkers and students at Mount Carmel High School.

We're getting together to spend time with other young adults in the south suburbs. We met after 5 p.m. mass at IJP on October 6 and will meet again after the 5 p.m. mass on October 13.

August 1st is a significant date in Young Adult Ministry history. Dr. Kate DeVries began her work with young adults on 8/1/1988. Her position was eliminated earlier this year. Today would have been her 25th anniversary. Happy Anniversary, Kate!
