In all honesty, I was disappointed that my candidate lost her bid for the Presidency.
I took comfort in knowing that even in defeat, I took part in the process of voting.
But then I had to quickly put my “big boy pants on”.
I’ve always advocated peace and unity, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, regardless of who is in the White House.
I also pray and give thanks for whoever is in authority, knowing that God is in control and knows what He is doing.
Ultimately, I want a peaceful and quiet life, in all godliness and holiness, which is God’s will.
With all that said:
Congratulations Donald Trump.
(1 Timothy 2:1-4 NKJV)
“I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone– for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth”.
