Where He Dwells

“And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them. I am the Lord their God.”
Exodus 29:46 (NKJV)

God did not bring the children of Israel out of Egypt simply to rescue them—He brought them out so He could dwell among them.

Before God ever dwelt with Israel, He first had to move them away from Egypt. Bo***ge and intimacy cannot occupy the same space. Deliverance comes first; dwelling follows.

You’ve heard the saying, “Don’t let this smooth face or smooth taste fool you.” In the same way, don’t let God’s amazing grace fool you.

Yes—God is gracious. He gives breath, provision, mercy, and new chances every single day. But grace was never meant to excuse mess; grace empowers us to leave it.

God will absolutely step into chaos to save, rescue, and deliver. He will reach into Egypt, confront Pharaoh, and break chains.
But Scripture shows us something sobering and loving at the same time:

👉 God does not dwell where idols are honored.

Idols aren’t just statues. They are:
• Anything we obey before God
• Anyone we work harder to please than Him
• Anything we trust, cling to, or protect more than His presence

God is holy. And while He meets us in our brokenness, He does not make His home in a place where other gods are invited to stay.

That’s why the first commandment still matters:

“You shall have no other gods before Me.”

God isn’t competing for space—He is inviting us into covenant.

If He brought you out, it’s because He wants to dwell with you.
And where He dwells, Egypt must remain behind.

When we pray!

Every night, let’s pray, worship and watch God overturn the plans that are not in accordance to His will.

Our prayers will cause an earthquake and shake up things in our lives, on our jobs, in our homes and certainly in our government.

Regardless of who’s in office or appointed, collectively, we should join together in one accord that our government and these United States are ruled by the heart and wisdom of God.

“But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭16‬:‭25‬-‭26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Christmas in July is over, now I am thinking about the perfect gift for Christmas in December 2023.

If Santa ask have I been naughty or nice, I must confess the following:
⁃ I’ve not had the best tongue this year, I have not always spoken words of faith and encouragement
⁃ I’ve allowed cussing to come out of my mouth in times of anger
⁃ I’ve have not always quickly forgave or saw the best in people
⁃ There’s still some judgement instead of praying and looking for the positive in people and situations
⁃ I’ve been slack at working toward the work and promises of God
⁃ I’ve been extremely slow in working towards certain goals
I could go on and on….

Some may think that I deserve a stocking filled with coal. My response, I do not deserve coal, however; it is the gift that I truly want and need from each of you and from my Father in Heaven.

That burning hot coal from the alter of our God. I need that coal to touch these lips, touch my heart, touch my mind, and spirit. I need it’s heat to cleanse me, purify and burn all the mess in me out. Hot coal pressed against my feet so I can run back to the alter, holiness and the marvelous things of God.

Give me that burning coal, let it to take away and purge every sin and yours. Yes, give me Coal for Christmas.

If you cannot find a stocking of coal, let the fire of the Holy Ghost ignite your tongue as you pray for yourself and those God has placed on your heart so there will be healing and deliverance.

“So I said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The Lord of hosts.””
Isaiah 6:5 NKJV

“Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth with it, and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, And your sin purged.””
Isaiah 6:6-7 NKJV

Good Credit

Americans are obsessed with having an excellent credit score. Oh how wonderful the world opens for those who reach the 800+ zone.

But does that really mean you have good credit? Is this in accordance to God’s word or are we subjecting ourselves to the world’s system?

I ask people all the time, are you doing what’s white (Western Culture and their Rules for Success) or what’s right (God’s rules)?

God’s word tells us: You receive credit when you give and lend to those who do not have. As you continue to give and look for nothing in return, your credit score increases. Your score will become above measure, you will have everything you hope for, good measure, good credit and overflowing abundance.

Boost your credit score by giving to those who cannot give back and watch God move on your behalf.

““But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil.”
Luke 6:32-35 NKJV

The news said it’s an end to affirmative action; God said I am reaffirming for my chosen people that I am the only one with the authority to open and close doors.

Trust me and my plans for your life and stop pursuing the things of this world and how man defines success. Harvard cannot give you my wisdom, knowledge or understanding. Seek me and I will direct your path.

Only if you believe and seek me with your whole heart says the Lord, you will find favor and obtain the keys to the kingdom.

“”I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When people meet you in your latter season, past the breakthroughs and struggles, they often think your life is smooth, you cannot be that deep in Christ. They don't know, they are looking at the other side of the struggle, the calm coming out of storms and the wisdom of learning to be quiet.

They judge you as not there while they are in their struggles. But baby, you are looking at pretty women that prayed, prospered, and still praying daily.

Keep praying to get to the other side, that's where real beauty resides.

Our children

One of the greatest sins in the Old Testament was related to the failure of parents to love their kids enough to teach them the ways and commandments of the Lord.

John the Baptist purpose and God’s goal was to have John preach the gospel and cause the hearts of the fathers to return to their children.

Scripture tells parents to raise their children in the admonition of the Lord, that means must:
A. Teach them faithfulness to God’s ways;
B. Love and correct our children; and
C. Pray for our children.

Self examine: Have you been consistent and faithful praying for your children? Family? Friends? Children around the world?

Remember we too are mothers, brothers and sisters in Christ, let’s focus on praying for our children.

Let’s do our part and prepare these children for the Lord.

“He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, ‘to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,’ and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.””
‭‭Luke‬ ‭1:17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6:4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Course Correction

As children and servants of God in this present world of hostility, anger, recklessness and sheer fear, we often fail to perform a key duty as ministers and servants = correct folks when they get off course.

The word of God instructs us as follows:

“And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.”
‭‭II Timothy‬ ‭2:24-26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

If the servants of the Lord are not loving, willing to teach and correct behavior that is in opposition to God’s commands, who will guide us from the snares of the enemy?

We pray that they be saved, but they also must hear the word and instructions from God. If we continue this path of not saying anything to this generation because of fear of retaliation, how will they ever learn of the Lord?

We saw first hand how removing correction from our schools have created generations of kids with no respect or discipline; Kids who are ripe for the enemy.

As servants, we can no longer neglect our duties to teach and correct, to help others come to their senses and avoid the pitfalls of the enemy.

Now is the time for salvation, speak with boldness so others may be saved; God will provide and protect us.

Lord, please speak to us and allow us to be alert in the spirit and equipped with boldness to speak to those who you place on our hearts, so they escape the hands of the enemy.

We desire as you do that all men, women and children be saved and experience this wonderful world of love and the good life!

On this Wednesday, I declare “we will speak up”!

I command you to Remain in Love

Assignment: After reading this, 1) text the one and only command required of you and 2) the benefit received for complying.

In the early 90’s, I read the passage “lay down your life for a friend” and told God; I’m not there. I cannot imagine taking a bullet, etc. for anyone.

A few months later, my neighbors’ car broke down and she asked for a ride. At the time, I had family, several friends and coworkers at the same job. I decided to let my neighbor take my car because her location was more difficult to get to and I could easily find transportation.

Later, God spoke to me and said, that’s what the passage means. Be willing to make sacrifices to help others, be willing to lay aside your comfort so that others can live in comfort too. Help each other, share care, and love each others.

I cannot say it plain enough, just love and treat people the way you desire to be treated; it is truly the answer to life and the key to God answering our prayers.

““As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. This is my command: Love each other.”
John 15:9-17 NIV

Now
A: at the present time or moment Now is the time for action.B: in the time immediately before the present thought of them just nowC: in the time immediately to follow

Now faith, means having faith at this very moment, the present time. It is a faith that requires “confidence” that when you utter the request it will be immediately granted.

Do you have NOW faith? Do you believe you are healed when you speak it or do you need to see it?

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭NIV‬‬

God said you are healed, prosperous, favored, your family is blessed, your finances are blessed. Will you receive it NOW by faith and start walking in it.? Or will you continue to wait until you see if? However, you’ll never receive it if it is not first received in your heart and spirit by faith.

““Go,” Jesus replied, “your son will live.” The man took Jesus at his word and departed. While he was still on the way, his servants met him with the news that his boy was living. When he inquired as to the time when his son got better, they said to him, “Yesterday, at one in the afternoon, the fever left him.” Then the father realized that this was the exact time at which Jesus had said to him, “Your son will live.” So he and his whole household believed. This was the second sign Jesus performed after coming from Judea to Galilee.”
John 4:50-54 NIV

God increase our NOW faith!
